This place is a JOKE, A couple of weeks ago went to inquire about replacing the driver side headlamps assembly for my VW Jetta. The manager told me to order the parts and bring it in when I get it. He told me that it will cost me $150.00 to put in then. I finally got the part and brought it in this morning. Since I was going to leave my car for service I asked my wife to drive in with the car while I driving the other car. Long story short, the manager was mad about the fact my wife was 2 mm late first. Second, now the price was $200.00 instead of $150:00. 3rd he handed me a blank sheet and to fill out and sign it. I filled and DID Not sign, and I also forgot to add my phone #. He got my upset. I told him I didnt like the way he was talking to me. He got more upset and told me he wasnt going to do it anymore. I left call a different place and they told me it will cost me the initial price he had said ($150.00) with no drama. I will never go back to that place again. Not trustworthy and customer service sucks. At the end of the day he is the one who leaves of service. I just needed one service and someone else did it for me.

TAKE YOUR CAR SOMEWHERE ELSE, This place is a joke!!!! My muffler was hanging since the pipe broke in the back and they wanted to replace the entire exhaust system (except the muffler, they said that was still good LMAO) for $1100. I went down the street to Fast Pace Muffler and Brake (its on the North side of RT. 30, abouut a mile East of Midas) and got it repaired for $200. I waited over an hour for the estimate at Midas, Fast Pace had me up and running again in less than an hour with an estimate. I talked with a guy at Midas that was there for over 2 hours for an oil change. Go somewhere else to save yourself time and money, this shop is truly a JOKE!

They are rude as hell. The guy put my horn was working and it isnt! Then I wanted the 1995 oil change and he convinces me to get the one for 7 bucks more, then tells me its 35 but hes gna give me a deal n take 5 off so my total was 30 even. How the hell is 1995 plus 7 30 bucks?? They scam ppl and now all of a sudden they said my battery doesnt work and I have an oil leak when I JUST got my oil changed and a brand new battery!! They are rude as all hell and need to be put outta business!!

OVER PRICED AND IGNORANT. I called to get a price to replace one brake line and talked with 2 of their employees one named kent could not give me any answers so he put on his manager or at least he said it was his manager and he got mad and hung up the phone after I asked him Why it was $350.00 to replace a brake line that I just got a price of $90.00 from their other location.

The Midas Auto Experts is Chicago Heights 656 W Lincoln Hwy, Chicago Heights, IL 60411 Charge me for work that they didn not perform. They are very dishonest and the owner is arrogant.. If you take your car there. they will rip you off!!! Go there at your own risk.. I am out of hundreds of dollars and they have done nothing to make things right.. PLEASE DONT GO THERE!!!!

Terrible service ... They try to take advantage if you dont know about cars. Went to get a SIMPLE light fixed came out with more problems; they said my brakes were bad and rotors IE CHARGE FOR $1700, WENT TO ANOTHER SHOP UP THE STREET 200. Mind you I just had my brakes replaced a month prior . Stay away please .

I have used this shop for years. They are reasonable and professional. I just had struts put on my Toyota. This Midas had the most competitive price. Give them a new look. Its one of the best in the south suburbs!!

GOT MY OIL CHANGED AND THEY TRIED TO SCAM ME BY NOT CHANGING THE FILTER. ALMOST WRECKED MY ENGINE. DONT TRUST THIS LOCATION!!!!
