I had a scheduled appointment with the Cleaning Authority to provide a final moving clean on my house. The appointment was confirmed a week in advance. The morning of my appointment (and 3 days before the close of my house) I was told there was a scheduling confilict and my house would not be serviced. When I inquired further I was told that they bumped my house since it was not normally scheduled on that day. I inquired that if they bumped my house for a regularlly scheduled house why was this issues not caught before the appoitnment was scheduled. According to the explanation I was given this was only done since my house is normally on a different day. I was also told they would not be able to meet my request for cleaning until a week later. When I inquired about how I would not be continuing with their service since I do not feel they have provided quality service I was told that is fine and given the impression they could not care about my business. the scheduler, Megan, is completely unprofessional and a great disspointment to the service I was promised by their managing partner, Patrick Orr.

The Cleaning Authority Team is by far the most AMAZING team!! I have had them at my house for a year now, and they never fail to impress me. Just the other day the morning of my scheduled clean I was rushing out the door and I saw that my 3yr old had got into my purse and taken my bright red lipstick and drawn ALL over the wall...I had zero time to clean this and thought for sure that it was going to stain the wall. The morning was stressful and then off to work - I came home after a LONG day excited to have a clean house but remembering the GIANT red mark that I was going to have to clean. I walked in and my house looked beautiful (as it always does after TCA is there) and noticed that the red lipstick stain had been cleaned off the wall and that there was no stain. This was something that they did with no extra request - this is not something that I would have ever expected and I was BLOWN away - what great customer service!! They always deliver but WOW! Thank you for being an amazing team and delivering FANTASTIC Customer Service on a regular basis.

After 5 years with the Cleaning Authority you would think the owners would care about customer loyalty. Their equipment (vacuum) nearly caused a fire at an outlet. The plug had melted at the wall outlet before the breaker tripped. After calming down their employee and telling him it was easily fixed for less than $20, I called the Cleaning Authority. The owner’s wife answered and said the owner was in a meeting with other customers but would get back to me. I inform her of the issue and was not even blaming them I just wanted to let them know their vacuums may have an issue. The owner’s wife called back 10-15 minutes later, the owner told his wife to tell me it was “an electrical issue in our home and not their problem.” This was the first thing out of her mouth, she them wouldn’t let me get a word in edge wise which caused me to speak louder – was I yelling in the end – yes. I was trying to tell them they had a safety issue. In the end it cost $6.16 to fix. Their inability to listen to a customer cost them a long term customer.

I originally went with The Cleaning Authority after a search and review of the top listed house cleaners on Angies List. Ever since weve had them clean my brothers house every other week and they have done an excellent job. They rotate different areas of the house each visit while always focusing on general things like vacuuming and counters, etc. Weve used them for well over a couple years now, so Ive become very comfortable letting the crews clean the house when Im not at home, but generally I prefer to be at home in case theres any questions. The only thing that would make them "excellent" would be an online tool to see when the visit is scheduled - sometimes I forget to call them the day before they show up so I dont know if theyll show up early the next day or not. This means I usually have to call first thing the day of their visit to make sure Im not in the shower or something when they show up. Its a minor annoyance though - and probably particular to me.

I love your promptness in coming on schedule as promised. Your team have always been trustworthy. I often leave valuable things around the house like my husbands wallet or my jewelry, and I have yet had anyone taken anything from me. Your team have been cleaning for me since 2003-2007 and back to clean my home again from 2009 to present (2012). I forgot that your team were coming so I forgot to put out my granite cleaning spray. Your team leader remembered my preferred granite cleaning product and asked my husband to fish it out of the pantry for them to use. I love that you remember my little quirks. I have cats and a dog, your team have always made sure that they dont run out into the street when you enter and exit the front door so I feel much safer have my animals being looked after during your cleaning routine. This is the first time Ive used the Cleaning Authority for my home. I have to say, I am extremely impressed with how thorough they are with the process. My whole house was transformed! There is not a spot of dust or stain, literally. I came home and can immediately feel the difference. I even examined all the corners, because I thought to myself they cant be THAT good, but they even took off the dust on the fans, the edges of the picture frames, the light fixtures, and all the appliances. Also, I am most impressed with the job they did in my bathroom. LOVE a clean bathroom and shiny bathtubs. Im a pretty busy business-owner and rarely have time to keep up the cleaning. Even if I invest a whole week cleaning the house myself, I would not have done nearly a better job than these professionals. Good job guys, keep up the good work!

Would NOT recommend this service to anyone- was sold this service by the owner based on their commitment to provide excellent cleaning service every time- specifically that they would have a focus area at each cleaning. I signed up although they were about 20% more than other services I had interviewed. The first cleaning was excellent but I also paid more for that. every other time I noticed that they did very surface cleaning- not cleaning glass french doors, not cleaning bathroom mirrors, not dusting. My biggest issue was the floors- there was not one time that they cleaned the floors well. they always left areas un-mopped, or streaky with residue. I complained many times when I was not satisfied and had them come out to re-so a specific area. After the last cleaning with the same issue(s)- I cancelled the service.

The Cleaning Authority has been cleaning my house for over 8 months and they do an incredible job time and time again! My crew today (Brittane, Jannette & Amber) of course did an incredible job cleaning my house, but they were also tasked with cleaning my parents casita for the first time. My aging parents were so pleased! I should mention I especially love when Brittane comes because I can see that she really pays attention to detail (from the fluffed & tidy pillows on my couches, to the well-made beds, to the dusting of my incredibly large & somewhat cluttered desk). I wish Brittane could come every time! I truly appreciate the hard work time and time again!
