The first time I went to this salon I had a great experience, however when I returned last week and asked for the same stylist I was informed she no longer worked there. So I was assigned to Chenda. When she asked me what I wanted I told her that my highlights had grown out and I wanted them redone the same color, basically I wanted my hair just to be touched up from growing out, and that last time the lady "bumped the base" color of my hair one or two shades and I really liked that. For some reason she took this to mean that I wanted all of my hair to be made COMPLETELY WHITE! When she dried my hair and I saw what she did, I told her that I was completely uncomfortable looking like that, it wasnt remotely what I wanted. So she said no problem Ill just put another glaze on it to darken it back up. when she dried my hair the second time it finally looked like a human shade of hair, so I relaxed a bit. However when I got home and got to see the color in normal lighting I noticed that it was GRAY! So I called the salon and was told that oh when a darkener is put on it often looks gray for a few days but it will wear off after a few washings, but its a week and several washes later and my hair is still a disgusting too blond and dark gray mixture that makes me look like Im 20-30 years older than I am. NEVER GO TO THIS HORRIFIC PLACE, THEY WILL MAKE YOU LOOK LIKE AN OLD LADY AT 27!!

The customer service here has never let me down, and the knowledge about products for hair care is excellent. There has only been one goof-up in my history (2 or 3 years) coming to the salon for hair color and cuts, and it was quickly taken care of without cost to me. In that case it was a stylist being rushed by ME because I didnt realize that my services would take so long (I had to run a few errands before making dinner) and he happened to miss a spot of hair that was fairly easy to see. No questions or doubts when I walked in to get it taken care of, he was wonderful and so was the management. The owners, managers, and employees will almost always go up and beyond what you would hope for to make sure you feel valued. I always recommend them because Ive never witnessed any staff fight (which I have seen at other salons even at this very mall) and not once have I felt as though perhaps I wasnt being treated with respect. Here you can bet you are going to be met with a smile the moment you walk in, and feel great about the way your experience was there.

This was my first time going to The Edge Salon, and let me tell you, I was not disappointed. A little background on my hair: it was cut into a pixie a little over a year ago and has now reached the phase where it is all one length but still in that awkward phase where it isnt a bob, but it isnt shoulder length either. My hair is also fluffy. Ill let you imagine the rest. Okay? Okay. I wanted to have cute hair that was lightweight, manageable, and, well, not so awkward. ENTER THE EDGE... I booked my appointment online which was super easy to do, and actually showed up for my appointment early by accident. I was taken in immediately and paired up with Nikki. She was friendly, talented, and customer oriented. She didnt make me feel weird for bringing in photos of the type of hair I wanted and didnt try to tell me that it would look weird.

Poor communication! My hair turned out at least two shades darker than the picture I brought in, despite my initial concern with the color swatch. I was told, "it wont be that dark..." I called and explained my despair at looking so dark and made another appointment to get the color lightened a bit. I was under the impression that it would be free to have it fixed, but went I back in she told me it would be $50 and that that was a discount. Really nice people, but I wouldnt have gone in if id known it would be another $50! I had already paid a whopping $135!!! Poor customer service and communication and a waste of my precious time. I probably would have gone back but they just lost me and probably you too.

Ive moved to 2 states in the last two years, so I havent had a regular stylist in that time. Found my way to a lot of hacks on accident. But now I think Ive finally found my stylist! As anyone with really long hair knows, getting a shorter style is kinda scary. Kelly made it much easier and was really patient with me while I expressed my concerns, likes and dislikes. She even looked through photos with me to make sure she was cutting my hair the way I wanted. Ill be back for a trim and recommend my new stylist to anyone whos nervous about a big change!

I thought that the hair design portion of the experience was overall mediocre and the staff there are rude and disrespectful. When I went to the salon with my friend they treated her like crap. The stylists would go to each other and start talking about her behind her back and gave her dagger eyes every 5 minutes. They constantly made her move and would be disrespectful when asking her to move from station to station. I would suggest going to this business if you are completely alone and if you want your hair to look sub-par.

I had the most wonderful experience here on Saturday! The reception staff was so friendly, they made me feel instantly welcome! Rylee is a great stylist, she did a wonderful job on my color and gave me a great cut! I really felt like she took the time to understand my hair and what I wanted it to look like. I will definitely be back!!!!

Ive been going to the Edge Salon for the last 5 years. Chenda has been nothing but AMAZING. She does my hair perfect everytime. I love this place and will continue to use this salon! Customer service is always amazing here as well. Ive never had a problem. Thank you Chenda!

Went just for a standard mens haircut. Was pretty happy with it, but it costs a little more than I was hoping, after leaving a tip. The girl was really friendly though, so no complaints there. There are just cheaper places for a basic mens cut.

Brandon was a doll... he listen and helped me out with a really bad cut! Did a glaze and gave me a gorgeous color! He even styled me out so I could stay out and not have to run home and style!!! Thank you so much and see you in 4-6 weeks....

Got a pretty bad haircut here from Jose. The product they put in it smoothed everything out, so it wasnt till I got home that I noticed there were patches and shocks of hair that were uneven or hadnt been cut at all. Just a really sloppy job.
