STAY AWAY FROM TOTAL BLISS SALON & SPA, GILBERT! They simply do not care about their clients/customers, its all about the $$ for them. This is so unlike me to make posts like this, but being in the Sales/Customer Service profession myself, Im appauled! Please read on ... my lovely sister-in-law (who lives in MI) gave me a $100 gift certificate to Total Bliss Salon & Spa Gilbert, AZ for Christmas when we first moved here from VT. I used it once for a manicure, leaving a $72 balance. I now have the time & extra money to schedule a very much needed massage & I have been told by the owner of Total Bliss Salon & Spa "the gift certificate expired last December and they will NOT honor it because the card expired almost a year ago. They would, however, make an acception to honor it if was only a month or two past that year mark." HUH!!? What the hell difference does THAT make? Had I known the card expired, I would have made it a POINT to use it MUCH sooner for smaller services!! In this economy, businesses have suffered & times have been tough for many people & THIS is the business policy this owner & her company are taking .. seriously?? This is SHAMEFUL .. must be they have so many customers/clients they dont need any more. The power of social media and internet reviews is very strong & I certainly hope that my $72 is worth this negative review.

This salon has gone down hill over the past 5-6 years. My stylist left so I did too until recently. I went back to have my eyebrows waxed. The first few times were okay. The place was remodeled and looked a bit fancier but it was a ghost town each time I was there. I should have taken this as a sign. The receptionist was inappropriately dressed. She was a big girl and big chested. She wore an off-the-shoulder top with half her breast exposed. I was afraid to look at her in the event that the entire thing would fall out and she sat in the chair hunched over like a slob. The girl that did my brows was named Lindsey. She waxed off 1/2 the length of my right brow. She did not tell me about the error and she did not offer me a mirror after the service. Clearly she was trying to push me out the door before I caught her mistake. Over a month later Im still waiting for that area to grow back in. I was too furious to go back and demand a refund. There is no way that girl was professionally trained. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON. They are unprofessional with poorly trained staff.

Yikes. Went here for a spa pedicure and gel manicure. The woman who did my nails was very nice but this place was definitely below my standards of cleanliness. There were wet, dirty towels lying all over the floor by the spa chairs and nail dust everywhere. Some nail tools like the emery boards were reused between patrons without being sanitized. I had my pedicure first and then the woman tried to reuse the same tools on my hands. They were in about an inch of sanitizer without the handles or majority of the instruments being cleaned off. She did clean them more thoroughly when I complained before doing my manicure but still....she shouldnt need to be told this. It wasnt the grossest place I have ever seen but there were very few clients there for a reason. I dont recommend this place, sorry.

Me, my wife, mother and father inlaw all see Sativa here. She does a fantastic job at a very reasonable rate. I originally bought my wife a gift certificate about 2 years ago. I had never gone there or heard anything about it, just picked it out of the blue. She loves it and has been going ever since as well as recommending it to friends & family. I cannot vouch for other stylists in the salon but highly recommend Sativa.

What an AMAZING day! Spent the day here with my mother who is visiting from out of town. We were greeted wonderfully and given such great service by everyone. We had our hair done, facials and pedis. Prices are so reasonable for the service provided. Would recommend this place to EVERYONE and will absolutely be returning!

I had my wedding partys hair, make up, and nails done at Total Bliss Salon & Spa. What a great experience! Not only did we all look and feel great, but they took care of our every need. Not only did we look great, but it made my special day so less stressful!!!!! I will go back. Cant wait to try a massage next!

Dr boyer is absolutely amazing. She is so knowledgeable in every aspect. She does Botox and fillers on me and also provides testosterone shots for my husband we both have felt so great ever since we started going to her. She is absolutely amazing thank you Dr Boyer for all that you do

Just had my hair color and highlights done by Anastasia. I was a bit nervous as my hairstylist had moved out of state, but let me tell you, I was more than pleasantly surprised! I also like that Total Bliss has everything under one roof. I even made a mani/pedi appt for next week.

What Is This

Great day! Had a crazy year working on a political campaign and needed a day not to think about anything. I am definitely a jeans and t-shirt girl, so the makeup at the end was a little excessive to my taste - but thats just me. Lots of fun, very relaxing and everyone was nice.

I went in yesterday for the Arasys treatment. They were very friendly and professional. The treatment was intense and I feel great today. Im going back next week for another treatment. I would recommend this place to my family and friends.

I love going here because the best hair stylist (in my opinion) in the east valley is here. Need a new stylist ask for Lynn! Shes super friendly and personable and does a great job; from color / highlights, up dos, etc.
