Update 12/2/13**** After posting my review I recieved a phone call from the general manager who stated that the plumber who helped me that day was new and quoted me the wrong price. I am happy to say they corrected the bill and gave me half my money back. I am very pleased that this was resolved and even though it was an unfortunate mistake, I am glad that Christian Brothers cares enough about their customer service to reach out to me and work with me. So again, Christian Brothers does fantastic work and you will get great customer service in the process. However, it can never hurt to have a general idea of what things cost and what you are being billed for in the event this happens to you. As customers and returning clients we want to able to trust the companies that we are inviting into our homes and not have to worry that we are being ripped off. Accidental or not. _________________________________________________________________- I have used Christian Brothers more than once. First time I had a very experienced plumber by the name of Dax who was the absolute best and answered all my questions. This time I had Jon and he also was very kind and answered all my questions... Well, the ones he was able to... I called Christian Brothers out to my home because two of my toilets started running non-stop at the same time. I can handle basic plumbing problems myself and assumed it was just the fill valves going bad in both the toilets but I assumed since it happened to both at the same time that I may have a "main" issue. I had some friends coming in town to stay with me in back-to-back weeks and wanted to make sure everything was okay... When Jon arrived he spent one minute looking at each of the toilets and confirmed they needed just new fill valves like I had expected and also maybe new supply lines. I was glad to hear it was nothing bigger with my main plumbing and felt a sigh of relief... However, Jon went out to his truck and stood next to it for over 5 minutes then came back to show me the estimate.. 340 dollars!!!! Needless to say my sigh of relief changed to a gasp. I asked him why it was going to be so much and he was unable to give me a reason why. So I asked him what was the break down of labor and parts, again he was unable to tell me. Since my friends were going to be here soon I had no choice really but to accept the work and move on. Jon himself was great and so kind. Even helped me with a shower head for "free" BUT 340 dollars for AT MOST 50 dollars in parts and one hour (AT MOST) of work?? Oh yeah, and that was after my 35 dollar magnet discount. Give me a break. So BUYER BEWARE you will get great customer service and care but you will get ABSOLUTELY ripped off by Christian Brothers in the end by the price. They wont even be able to give you a break down of why you are paying what you are paying.... It just comes out of a code book for the plumber to reference. I personally wont use Christian Brothers again because I can not afford to be ripped off everytime... Im sure they get away with it just fine here in Scottsdale though... The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is because of how good Jon was a plumber.

Late Saturday night, our A/C went out. We called Christian Brothers and they said someone would be at home within 60 minutes. For the sake of brevity, I’ll just say that they lived up to MY expectations of how a company provides EXCEPTIONAL service to customers. Although ours was a complex installation that took two days, the installer, Anthony G. handled all the unforeseen hurdles that are frequently encountered with any home based repair. He was knowledgeable, professional, courteous and friendly. He carefully went about his work with complete respect for our home and us. If things had to be moved, he moved them carefully, making sure they wouldn’t accidentally get damaged. When he completed the repair, he meticulously cleaned up all the areas (interior and exterior) where work was performed. Anthony G. represents Christian Brothers in a role model manner that demonstrates not only his own outstanding personal work ethics, but Christian Brothers commitment to providing excellent customer service as well. I’ve only encountered this type of stellar customer repair service in one other business here in the Valley. Christian Brothers went that “extra mile” to offer us options integral to our comfort while they completed their work. They thoughtfully provided us with a portable room air conditioner (at NO cost to us) that made our situation a little more bearable in the July heat. They set it up, and made sure it was working BEFORE they left. Anthony also removed it from the home when the work was done. Let me also mention that at NO time did he ever ask us, the home owners, if we had electrical extensions, tools, mats, etc. to do his work. If you’re looking for a new A/C install or repair, as a completely satisfied customer, I am happy to suggest and recommend Christian Brothers. Not only will you be pleased with the work performed as well as their personnel, you will definitely get your money’s worth for products or services. Once again, my gratitude and commendations to Anthony G. for his exemplary job skills and knowledge, as well as his excellent customer contact skills. And kudos to Christian Brothers for cultivating an environment that reflects employee satisfaction and excellence! Your employees demonstrate your company’s pledge to customer satisfaction during every contact. Thank you for participating in a manner that engages customer feedback to promote, guide, and encourage PREMIER customer service!

Do not believe all the good reviews. A tech from there did not have a clue about what was wrong with my plumbing. He charged $29.95 inspection and had I gone thru with it I would have paid for something that would not have fixed my issue. They told me it was the shower cartridge causing the sound i was hearing, in the wall. That was $300.00 but if he could not get the cartridge out (very likely according to him), it would be $1500.00. I told him that shower has had a very slow drip a long time and the sound i am hearing now was not there all this time till now, so how could it be related? He said after that it may be a "slab" leak, which would be at least $2000.00 if the shower repair did not work. He only spent about 10 minutes checking it out, charged me $29 inspection. I called Reddi services, free inspection, The guy spent well over a hour, and without the need for a expensive leak detection done, told me yes it was a slab leak. The shower drip had nothing to do with it, and that it was BS that a qualified plumber could not change the cartridge without breaking it as they have a special tool. Bottom line is I would have been about $1500 in with Christian Brothers and issue not fixed, then they would have charged at least another $2000 to fix what they came for, on top of that he also said, (without inspection) I should re pipe and re do the whole house, at a cost of $10,000 to 15,000, oh and they finance. how nice of them. got my slab leak fixed for $1200 by Reddi services (guaranteed 10 years) and they replaced my shower cartridge for free that Christian Brothers said they may not be able to even get it out without breaking it and then having to pay $1500.00. if you have a leak issue, do not panic, turn your water on and off as needed, untill you get other views. Companies like Christian Brothers feed off peoples fears and they way overcharge. wish I could rate a ZERO !!!!!!
