Great customer service. I had a garbage disposal malfunction on Sunday evening. I called a handful of plumbers and Roto Rooter was the only one who not only answered (not an answering machine) but could give me an actual estimated time of arrival (not a "well call you back). They called to confirm my appointment the next morning. And when their technician was running behind, they contacted me well ahead of time so I wasnt sitting around wondering where they were. The guy (cant remember his name) showed up, was courteous and professional. He took one look at my disposal and knew that it wasnt, as I thought, broken. It just needed to be "reset" basically. It took him 5 minutes, for which he could have easily charged me for an entire hour. But he didnt. He was gracious enough to label it a service call and didnt charge us anything. Weve all heard horror stories about plumbers/mechanics/contractors, but Roto Rooter was awesome. Definitely recommended for any plumbing questions.

ROTO-ROOTER is honest and fair and fixed the mess the others left behind. Roto-Rooter is cheap, and if they dont fix it -you dont pay. The other guys( plumbing masters-the smell good)were liars and scam artists. After paying them about $300 to clear the drain in the kitchen, they told us we needed to pay another 300 to have them Hydro jet it because they couldnt get through. so the kitchen drain cost us $600 and on two occasions I had to mop the entire kitchen floor and wash the walls because the guy left sludge everywhere. Then in the bathroom, they couldnt get through so they gouged a hole in our pipe which was how it finally drained. When I told them about the hole, they claimed that we did it and charged us $400 to fix the pipe he gouged. In the end the drain would not clear, so they tried again and could not get through. They told us it would cost $1700 to tear up the ground and go fix the pipe underneath.

I called Roto-Rooter after my tenant called and said they had standing water in the kitchen. I called other plumbers before calling them but the earliest any of them could come was approx 4-6 hours. Roto-Rooter said they would be out within 1-2 hours. When the technician arrived, he let me know what the problem was and what it would cost. He explained that the plastic tubing that runs to the fridge for the ice machine and water dispenser was punctured, leaking and needed to be replaced. He said it would cost $225 - his hourly rate. I asked how replacing a hose would take an hour and he explained that the minimum they charge is for 1 hour. I then called the Roto-Rooter office and asked them about the price and they said the technician is responsible for creating the estimate. I was pleased with their prompt service, but the price was a shock.

Doc and Joe were awesome! They came right away. Turned out to be a minor issue and did not charge me for the service. They are honest and knowledgeable. Another plumbing company came over prior and said I needed $400 water pressure jet cleaning job. Im glad I called Roto-rooter. I will certainly call Doc and Joe again if I have any plumbing issues.
