We found your company through APS’ Home Energy Audit $99 special and we are glad we did. Your audit tech, Ken Kucera was nothing short of perfect in professionalism, knowledge, service and just being a great guy. My husband, Jack, is a retired electrical engineer, residential & commercial contractor and a Jack of all trades and he loves to test the knowledge of people in the service industries he understands. Many people don’t make the grade, but Ken was able to describe, in technical detail, what the audit process was, why it was being done, what the equipment did and what the data meant. He answered all of our questions and easily chatted in tech talk with Jack. When the audit results were ready, Ken explained what he had found, what he suggested needed to be done and what additional things we may want to do in the future to make our home as efficient as possible. He did not push services or hard sell us, he simply offered information and willingness to be of service in any capacity Canyon State AC could provide. We scheduled Canyon State to come out to fix the ducting in the attic. Kyle Hicks & Albert Espinoza arrived on time, with all the parts, materials and tools necessary to complete the job and did so in the estimated time. They left the work site clean and removed all the old ducting. Using your partner company to blow in insulation was as painless as working directly with Canyon State. APS sent out an inspector to make sure all the work was completed properly. We got their thumbs up. A few months later (June 2015) we turned on our HVAC for the first time since Canyon State did an all points check up on our unit. We found that it was turning on and running but it was blowing out outside ambient temperature air. We called Canyon State and explained our issue. Because they had our warranty info on file, they notice our warranty was due to expire in the following four days. Canyon sent out Gabe Maestas that day and he found a blown control board. He ordered it and it arrived in 2 days that same day Gabe was out to replace the board. While he was replacing it he found the start components also had blown, suggesting we had had a power surge between when they serviced it the first time and when we turned it on the in June. Gabe offered to install a surge protector, we said do it. Oh, and they didn’t charge us for these last two service calls, just for the surge protector. What could have cost us nearly $1,000 ended up costing us $120. THANK YOU Canyon State!

Weve been with Canyon State A/C since 2000 we bought our first unit 17 years ago here in Sun City. Recently we had our semi annual checkup and Pablo suggested we make an appointment to check out a new unit since we were starting to need replacement parts and it was not as efficient any longer. Martin came out and arrived early for the scheduled appointment, was so friendly and informative that we decided on the spot to buy a new 15 Seer Trane. Four days later Drew and James installed our new inside air handler unit and the outside unit and were extremely careful not to damage any of the house as the A/C parts came and went. Both were very knowledgeable on any question I asked, and I came up with lots to ask. I love the new thermostat that I can control from my IPhone. All in all - all four Canyon State employees were superb from friendliness to knowledge and efficiency in doing their job. Sorry it was on the hottest day of the year!

If every contractor experience could just this outstanding! Beginning with our discussions with Martin on the type of equipment we should consider, he really understood all of the details required for the installation and the benefits that our new Trane system would provide for us all the way to scheduling the installation around our needs - what a great job! Then much to our surprise we meet Manny and Steven who showed up ON TIME and ready to GET IT DONE. They worked like the professionals they are and knowing that we had a limited time frame to get the installation completed stayed until the job was complete. Which included teaching my husband how to use his iPhone to operate the controls ... now that is dedication. They were thoughtful, cleaned up the area after they finished and did a perfect job making us feel even better about our choice in going with Canyon State to replace our entire Heating and AC unit.

Our house was 100 degrees inside because our air conditioning broke in the Phoenix summer. We have a home warranty company but because they couldnt get anyone to us right away they allowed us to call an "out of network" contractor. We chose Canyon State after the positive reviews. When I call I explained that we could pay up front costs and seek reimbursement from the warranty company later BUT the technician would need to speak with our warranty company to have the repairs authorized. They said "ok" The technician arrived and it was suddenly a different story. The technician was there to collect his service fee but refused to talk to the warranty company. The technician left us with a non working air conditioning and a 100 degree house because they refused to get authorization from our warranty company. So disappointed with Canyon State and clearly they dont care about ac repair at all...just collecting a service fee

I have had Gabe Maestas as my tech for the last two inspections, he is honest, very efficient and quick, tells you when something is wrong or not. As all a/c contractors do now, try to sell add-ons, The Canyon state reps are not pushy the some other companies are. Gabe offered me a surge unit and explained it to me, told him that I might be in a better position when the a/c season starts in April. When one Rep. told me this past spring that my a/c was ok and should go through the season and then wrote it up with a number of things wrong, I contacted Canyon state, they send Gabe to do a second opinion, did not tell him about the 1st rep. at no charge, he only found 2 coils that had been burnt by a surge, charged me $100 and every thing else checked out. This is a company with integrity, not afraid to deal with these people. Vic Bromberg----Sun City Grand

My air conditioner died at 10 pm, so I called Canyon State A/C the next morning. They offered to come out right away, and Trent showed up 2.5 hours later. He told me what the problem was, and asked if I wanted to repair or replace the air conditioner. I opted for repair and he said no problem, fixed everything, and was done 1.5 hours later! He did not pressure me to buy anything I did not need, the price was reasonable, and politely offered suggestions for future maintenance and replacement. He was professional and thorough, and told me to call right away if I needed anything else. I was very worried that I would not be able to afford this repair and was so relieved that he took care of everything. I will definitely call this company again in the future, and have recommended it to my friends on Facebook too! Thank you Canyon State and Trent!
