Done. Im done with this place. I used to go regularly and it was always hit and miss. Eventually I would only let two of the guys in there cut my hair because they actually listened and knew what they were doing. I started going to an off-base barber shop because it was around the corner from me and all of the employees are actually certified barbers. They were closed this week so I decided to go here. Terrible choice. The lady apparently doesnt know the meaning of a zero (skin) fade. Her clippers for doing the fade apparently didnt work so I asked if she could instead do it with a straight razor, which is better anyways. Said she didnt know how to. Really? Lastly, I always get and asked for a two on top. Didnt get that. It must be a three at best. Im at least in regs for now but Ill be going to my usual barber next week to get this fixed. She told me that I really shouldnt be unhappy for only paying $10. I told her paying $18 plus tip at my usual barbers is worth it for them knowing how to do a proper haircut with their tools.

Apparently they feel as though cutting black hair isnt basic military and I was told to go some place else. I will be researching to see if this is ok .
