Its a good gym. As good as youre going to find. Not the biggest, nor the smallest. They have what you need, Ill bet on that, and if you go between the big rush times, youll get your workout done without having to wait for anything. Ive been working out for 30 years in gyms from California to Florida and Ive been a Personal Trainer in gyms from the big mega gyms like Lifetime Fitness, to the very small places like Anytime Fitness. They all have their plusses and minuses. For my money, Mountainside has the best balance of them all. And its a local business so your money stays here in the Valley, if thats important to you, rather than going to some moneybags big shot in some other state who doesnt really care about you. I believe Mountainside does care about its members.

The owner of mountainside is a selfish prick. Could care less when my car was broken into on the property my keys were taken by a member or staff this proved the careless security the cameras did not work etc. Billy Macowich (However you spell his name) wrote back a letter asking if it was a MTV prank along with a page of rude Condescending comments he said he didnt have time for my concern and had to go back to downloading the Miley cyrus cd. I have the complete letter he wrote to my attorney is beyond disrespectful. Ive lost complete respect for him and his company. Canceled 12 memberships there and I joined The Village at Gainey in Scottsdale its amazing ! LP

A guy took my basketball and was probably trying to steal it I asked him if I could have it back because his friend also had a basketball from moutain side. There was distinct differences between the two mine was clean and had a solid grip no scuffs the other scuffed and dusty. He said he would take it to the front and let them decide the guy at the front was cool about but there was another lady at the front desk I didnt think she was paying any attention but when I was leaving she was sitting slacking off at the cafe with two of her friends. She said,"that guys insane" to her two friends she had blonde and brown hair very nice gym very poor service

Anyone who writes a bad review is a spoiled Bratt that wants their way on everything. This place is great. The classes are amazing and you can always get equipment to get a work out. This club deserves 5 stars for offering what is important that being a place to work out in a good atmosphere. Hush up cry babies having a tantrum online who talk down this place. I travel from far just like many people do to this club because it is great.

I really like how open it is and you dont ever really seem crowded (except for rush hour) but the music sucks I know that its not a location thing but corporate needs to get rid of the the stupid music they play that makes it hard to take a lift seriously,

Such a friendly, family and community oriented gym! Never have I ever experienced such comfort in gym as I have here! Great amenities, and clean. I like that I can visibly see staff cleaning the equipment daily. Friendly and helpful staff too.

Showers have mold. Discussed it with the onsite manager TWICE (two days apart), on my next visit (two days later), mold is still on 3 of the 5 showers. They spend a lot of time cleaning the equipment, but no time cleaning the showers.

Love this gym. Ive done the local LA fitness, fitness works and fitness evolution and Mountainside seems to give the best all around services of them all. Not filled with meat heads and mirror queens. Def worth my money every month.

Nice facility and I love the yoga class here :) A little pricey but the childrens center is top notch !!! My baby loves the play room. Makes working out easier when I can watch her on the TV screens on every treadmill.
