This is by far the absolute worst system for shipping/receiving packages. The mail carrier is too lazy to walk to my door, I live in a small apartment complex, and I have to go online to see he marks it as "undeliverable - no one home". Really? Because I was watching you, waiting for you to walk over, but instead saw you drive away. And I did this all from looking out my window. I called FedEx and they said it is not their responsibility as it was handed off to the post office for delivery. Called the post office and they said it is not their responsibility because they are delivering for a third party company. No one wants to take responsibility for the delivery, or shall I say, the NON delivery of a package. This has happened a few times and I have stopped ordering from any company that uses this horrible SmartPost method.

Well..... unlike the numerous people before me that apparently do not pay attention to what they are purchasing. I was very satisfied with the delivery of my product. It is an economical choice, it you are sitting on the edge of your seat waiting then maybe FedEx Ground or Expedited shipping is for you. This process can take a couple weeks. For example: if you purchase something from Macys. They ship it to a near by FedEx hub, then it goes to the correct Smart Posts hub, then it will be sorted and shipped again to a USPS. At this time- it is no longer FedEx who you are angry with. USPS will then do their process of sorting and scanning the package. It then finally will be put on a truck for delivery. SMARTPOST is a great cheap way... but maybe you just have to be smart to understand how it works.

Anyone saying its an economy service thats cheap so of course it will take time have no clue about shipping. I can use USPS directly for cheaper and a faster delivery time if given the opportunity. So its not as simple as choosing a more expensive option when if given a real choice, not some Peter to pay Paul option or $20 more for supposed express mail that I can simply choose USPS priority mail for the same price as FedEx smart (stupid) post but get it in 1 to 2 days . For instance my package shipped from California and I live in Phoenix. This smart post option doesnt make sense for my scenario so there isnt an easy fix or deal with it answer. Its simply not great for all routes or shipments. So for u it may make sense but for me its as if I ordered from China instead of California

My package is in Phoenix right now from the Rhode Island only took 4 days from there its now December 23rd and its saying delivery will be on December 29th almost another week its been a big screw up I originally ordered from California so it would be here for Christmas and they had no stock so they shipped from New York even though it showed plenty of stock in Cali fedex wont let me pick up package its so frustrating knowing its here and I cant get it....and I understand its an economy post but why does it need to sit for 6 days doing nothing plus I had no choice in shipping as it was bought from eBay and it didnt tell me what the shipping was but if I knew it was smart post I would have ordered with some one else because always have issues with smart post

My package shipped from OH last December 13 and since it shipped, I have been tracking where it was. Everything was going smoothly until it reached Phoenix, AZ Fedex Smartpost last December 19. Then it stopped moving from there! I called Fedex and they told me it is because it is Christmas!!! Come on, it was moving all the way from the east coast where there is snow! And now, it has been just sitting down for days in this Fedex Smartpost in Phoenix, AZ.

This stupid service doesnt even deserve 1 star. I have an item shipped through smartpost and the item arrived in my state to a facility less than 2 hours away 4 days ago and my package still hasnt arrived and no new updates on it and its went 3 business days with nothing happening im extremely upset because the item is fragile and extremely expensive I litterally have no idea what they are doing with my package Im angry

This is far worse mode of shipping than anything I have ever seen. One of my package reached Phoenix on Friday morning to them, it just sat there with them from Friday, Sat, Sun, Monday and Tuesday morning got it handed to USPS who will take one more day to deliver it, on Wednesday. 6 days just within city. Most ridiculously managed method. Never opt for this. I dont know why Google is using this method.

I ordered something literally 2 weeks ago. Tracking the package since Pennsylvania got to Az in 4 days, since then its been in Az for 4days. I could have drove to Pennsylvania and got my package sooner than theyre delivering it. My two year has been begging for the mail man for a week USPS hasnt received it yet. Smh this is why I ship UPS. Two days, no hassle. On time. Everytime.

FedEx is useless. This is the second time Ive had them delay my delivery because they transfer the package and hold it for days. First time they held in Meyer, AZ for days. Thats only an hour drive from Phoenix where I live. I try to avoid places that ship with them. However when Im stuck with there service I know they will find a way to disappoint me.

Talk about harming the environment. So from shipper to my house is 25 miles. 22 from the first fedex facility. After the first they shipped my package 30 miles further for a total of 55 away to be resorted. Now it has to shipped to my house for another 2 day delay. Close to 100 miles of travel for a 22 mile delivery.

Package has been sitting in phoenix for 4 days now. I CAN SEE THE FEDEX WAREHOUSE FROM MY OFFICE! But they will not allow me to pick up the package, they are going to end up giving it to USPS in the end, but they are slow as balls to do so. SmartPost is the worst thing ever to happen to parcel delivery HANDS DOWN.

horrible service. dont know why it took so long, then it was stuck at a location 30 minutes away from me and its been 10 hours. then i saw the driver throw my small box from about 5 yards onto our welcome mat. trash. lmao. even the predicted time was off. ups> usps> trashex

horrible service, took forever in transit it is only 19 miles and 34 minutes away from me. But it took sooooo long its unbelievable how long it took. I dont recommend. It doesnt even deserve 1 star. Its worth paying for a better shipment option.

Apparently these people that are writing one star reviews are morons because they probably ordered from china. If you order from U.S however, they got to my house 1 day before scheduled delivery. Next time check where its shipping from :)

Totally impressed.Original delivery date was 12/9 and they delivered it on 12/6. That was pretty fast service. There was no holding of the package at any point. Perhaps, they heard the complaints and made some improvements.
