Club SAR has a wide range of classes in the afternoon which are available to all members for the ridiculously low rate of $99 / year (as of 2016-09). Equipment that Ive used and seen looks decent (freestanding kickboxing bags, weight balls, floor mats, etc.) Its also walking distance for me so it s no-brainer. Note: sometimes there isnt parking available in the lot when afternoon/evening classes are held. This is especially true between classes when one class has recently stopped and another is beginning.

Very cheap no frills gym, just the way it should be. They recently upgraded all the weight plates so theyre no longer rusty ancient iron disks, but now they have handles so thats a plus. Everyone is friendly. Most nights have some pretty competitive basketball games going on. I used to do the boxing classes regularly and got in the best shape of my life doing so. Love this place, would definitely tell my friends to sign up if they were looking for a gym in Scottsdale

The price is FANTASTIC. That I will not deny. This is a no frills gym with old equipment. I found the appeal of this gym was the yoga classes. However in July they went from 13 classes to 3. This is no longer a good value for me. Any holiday the classes are cancelled all week or several days before. I am not renewing my membership.

Jim is a little small they do have some nice equipment an a basketball court.the boxing ring is a big plus as well.I would just not commit to a membership there i went on Saturdays and Sundays theyre only open till 3 in the afternoon its kind of ridiculous that city cant wont open the gym on the weekend..

Probably the best fitness gym deal around. All the cardio and weight equipment is well maintained. A full basketball court and boxing ring help separate it from other gyms in the area. The staff is always friendly...and available. Not to mention, its a great location.

Great local gym. Lots of regulars that work out there. Everyone is nice and never really any issues getting to the equipment that I want to use. Great gym for the price. No complaints here.

This gym is always super hot, but I guess thats because its for wrestlers? Old equipment, but good prices for when I am in the area and need a drop in.

Great value. Machines and free weights. BB court. Yoga. Martial arts classes. Professional courteous staff. Been going on and off for years.

This gym is always closed and all the equipment is old and hardly works. Wouldnt suggest to anybody!
