I paid for a shipment of hardwood flooring to be delivered to my home. GlobalTranz hired a third party, XPO Logistics, to handle the delivery. XPO informed me they couldnt deliver to my home due to road weight restrictions, and they are incapable of sending a smaller truck or splitting the load. They told me to either pick up the shipment myself at their depot 30 miles from my home within 3 days or pay $200 per day for them to store the pallet until the weight restrictions are lifted. I let them know my family sedan isnt great at hauling 4000-pound pallets of flooring, but Id find a truck to pick up the shipment because their storage fees are ridiculous, to say the least. I asked XPO to refund the fees I was charged for residential delivery and lift gate service, they told me to talk to GlobalTranz. GlobalTranz outright refused to give any sort of refund for these services. So, basically, they were trying to steal a bunch of money from me. Since Im not into forced donations to greedy corporations, I asked XPO to deliver the pallet on the side of a non-restricted road, a quarter mile from my home, so I could utilize the lift gate service and "residential" delivery service I paid for. The driver was a superstar and just delivered the shipment right to my home since there was no actual sign posted on my road. So, in the end, everything actually worked out for me, but in the midst, I found out how horrible GlobalTranz is. They steal money from people to fatten their wallets. Dont let this happen to you! Boycott GlobalTranz!!

I did a load 09/22/15 for agent Bryan Nowell out of Texas. He needed the load picked up at 5:30 A.M so he would send me packet to fill out afterwards. I asked for a release # but he gave me a contact name at loading company. Bryan sent me confirmation rate sheet by text message. After talking to factoring company, they told me Global Tranz should have sent a formal rate sheet and I cant factor load with a text message. After calling, texting, emailing Bryan asking him for rate sheet, he tells me hes gonna ask corporate and hell resend email but Ive yet to receive it.

I received a quote for a specific sized trailer 26 - 28 on a Friday from Globaltranz, on Monday the person I was in contact with called in sick, the team they have there does not communicate what I asked for and sends in a 53 trailer after I called Monday to get the truck in to our facility. When the 53 arrives, I reject it of course. They are trying to charge me $150 for a truck not used now and will not take responsibility. Any company that is willing to screw over their customer like this I cannot recommend. I will never pay this or use them again.

The service was sub-par. We have been trying to resolve an issue with the billing department since 2012. Many attempts to contact and resolve has ended up back at point A, just trying to get a hold of them. Calling the customer service extension will get you an endlessly ringing phone with no hope of hearing a voice, then IF someone answers (on rare occasion), they tell you what you want to hear and then never follow through, putting you again back at point A, just trying to get a hold of someone who will take care of business.

Worst shipper Ive ever used. Still waiting for my truck to show up. Ive tried calling Andrew there 7-8 times over 4 days and have only gotten a call back once and he didnt even talk to me he talked to a co-worker. Still have no clue if my truck is going to show up and I have to hire extra help to get the truck loaded and theyve now been sitting around for 2 days because I have no communication from this company. I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone.

Carriers, watch out for this company. We booked a load with these guys today in Los Angeles and told us to send our driver to pick up the load. Then we get a call back that they got a cheaper price from another carrier. They then had us bidding against each other, until we told them to F off. Cant wait until freight gets busy and L.A. and we can urn the tables on them.
