I was referred to this roofing company locally in Tempe. Bruce Rasmussen with Gryphon Construction came to my home the first time unannounced and I was not able to accomodate his unscheduled appointment. I asked to reschedule the appointment and Bruce had his office call me back to schedule. Bruce returned the following Monday and took a look at my roof and I told him my concerns and need for a bid so complete paperwork with my insurance claim. I called Bruce several times directly to his cell phone. He never answered my calls or returned the calls after I left him several voice mails. I called the office and left messages with the receptionist asking to have Bruce to send me the bid via e-mail and left my e-mail address to insure Bruce had the information. 4 days have passed since Bruce had come to my home to give me a bid on the repairs needed. I called Bruce again and he did not answer. I called the office again and told the receptionist if Bruce did not send the bid by that evening I would just pick someone else. It has been 5 days and I have not recieved an e-mail. I guess that company does not need the work. I wasted a week waiting for something I was never going to get. My insurance company is waiting for a second opinion to do the repair work on my roof. A very unsatisfied customer especially when I was referred to this local roofing company.

I was trying to refinance my house and the Mortgage company said that I need to replace all of my roofs. Unfortunately for me I have a shingle roof and a tile roof and a foamed roof all on the same building. Old house.. I called Gryphon and they were able to handle all of those roofs within a three day period. Other companies could only do the foam or the shingle or the tile. It was a relief to me that they were able to do all of the work. They got me scheduled within two weeks and now no more leaks. Now waiting for my refinance to go through. Robert

I wish I could say the same but I cant... They installed new roofing on my house a few years back and since then the roof leaks have not stopped! They have come out to fix it about 5 times and they can never get it right. This last storm that hit was about 2 weeks ago and again my roof leaked! I have called them 4 times to come repair and still get NO CALL BACK! :( I would not recommend using Gryphon roofing as not only can they not fix the problem that they created but cant get back to you in a timely manner (if at all) to help fix it!

Had used Gryphon for minor leak issues in the past as well as a flat patio roof redo. House is now 25 yrs old and time for a new roof before real issues surface. Excellent estimate process and explanation. Very competitive with several other bids so I went with outfit that had repaired my roof before. Easy to deal with, scheduled job went smoothly, and I would not hesitate to recommend them if you need roof work done. Now all we need is some rain!

This is the third time I have used Gryphon for partial or whole roof replacements. Many other family & friends have also used Gryphon based on our great experiences. This was a small job & I did not expect a supervisor on the site. The workers we professional & hard working in spire of the sunny 100+ degree day. I did find many large washer type nails in the rocks below the replace patio roof. Aside from that, Great job... again!

They just redid my roof. Im walking my property and already found over 100 nails, and one went right through my shoe. Trash left everywhere. Broken shingles everywhere. Soda cans, drink cups. My property is a mess. The first day they came, when they left for the day, the put a black tarp over my air conditioner. When I got home it was 95 in my house and they had to send someone out to get the tarp off my ac unit. Dumb.

This is a very effective company with great communication. If you have having any roofing issues, they are able to assess the damage and give you a fair estimate of the costs. I would highly recommend going to these guys to at least get a quote.

They filed a mechanics lien before we even signed the contract. Was very shady. The job was ok but bad business practice. Will NOT use them again.
