This company ROCKS! HIRE THESE GUYS. Devin came out to our house the morning we called with an emergency roof leak and gave us a thorough quote that we felt satisfied with. It took over a week for us to get at least three more quotes - just so we had other comparable quotes. Other roofers blew us off, couldnt give quotes at time of their visit, and some never returned phone messages we left them. Devin was diligent in following up with us through the quote search process. OH YEAH; Vertex was the only company of many that we called that offered financing. Once we hired Vertex for the job, Devin sent his largest crew and they were able to complete the whole job in one work day. They showed up at about 7:45 and were done before I got home from work at 5:30. They installed all new wood and shingles on the house, and seamless gutters on the house, the connecting carport and garage - ALL IN ONE DAY! Vertex Roofing is bar none the best roofing company in The Wasatch Front! I have built many homes before and wish I had known about them earlier, I would have saved lots of time and money. What would have taken another company 2 to 3 weeks, took their 12 man crew 2 days on our primary residence. They re-roofed our 5,000 sq ft home in Sandy quickly and professionally and did an excellent job on the roof. They worked from 7am to 8pm each day and cleaned everything up each night. They even put a ramp over my wife garden near the garage roof so they did not kill any plants while taking off the old shingles. Their price was thousands under the competitors and again they did it in 2 days! They did exactly what they said they would do on the bid and there were no surprises, which happens with some roofers. Vertex did a great job, once they actually arrived. There was some trouble getting them scheduled in the first place. The guy who did my quote dropped his computer and lost my information. When I didnt get a call when he said, I called and had to give them my information again. Later, after they had scheduled the work, they had to reschedule twice. Once because something went wrong on a different job; once because a foreman got sick. They handled it as well as could be expected, they called as soon as they could to let me know that they had to push back my work. I do wish it had all gone smoother, but I cant really blame them for it. They ended up doing a great job. They didnt leave nails in the lawn. They didnt ruin my rain gutters. They were done when they said they would be. My roof looks great. I would hire them again.

We recently knew that it was time to get a new roof for our home. My husband who is all about online reviews and doing business based on the reviews. We called vertex to have them come out to the house for an estimate. Cody our sales rep was awesome. He went through everything step by step. Gave us some expectations of what to expect during the install and everything. Then came the install day and all I can say is OMG! They had a large crew here to do our house and stand alone garage. They knocked it out tear down and install all in one day. Clean up was impecable. You would never even know that they had been here. To top it all off my roof looks amazing. Overall we had a pretty good experience with Vertex. The job was done quickly and the crew always cleaned up after themselves. We had several bids and Vertex offered the best warranty. For similar warranties, other more expensive vendors were charging for it, but Vertex just offered it as part of the deal. I also appreciated the time Vertex spent with us answering all our questions when we were getting bids as we did ask quite a few. We only had a couple of concerns, but were very impressed on how quickly they responded once we asked. The only other piece of feedback I would give Vertex is to communicate a little better on the status of the job - at one point we thought they were done, but then later found out they were not.

His pricing was fair, his crew showed up on time, and the job was done well. Vertex did a great job on our roof! The entire process was very professional. I met with many roofers and I could tell Devin (the owner) knew a lot about roofing and wasnt just a good salesman. He explained everything to us very well and wrote out the details for us to review. Once we decided to move forward he brought out all the samples I wanted to see. He had his crew set up the time. They came when they said they would and got right to work. They cleaned up everything very well. I am a very particular person when it comes to how I want things done and Vertex was great to make sure were were 100% happy with everything. I would highly recommend them to any family or friends!

Was very nice to deal with somebody that was very upfront and honest. Felt complete trust in everything he said and promised to do. Felt it was a very fair price. Had my roof stripped, reshingled, Ridge Cap, replaced worn or cracked boards and cleaned up in about 7 hours. Even the vent pipes were painted to match the roof. Would not hesitate to recommend them. Grandson is even using them on a house they bought that needs new roof.
