Everything was great until I approached the front counter to get my buzzer. The girl at the counter seemed preoccupied and did not greet me or look me in the eye or smile. I asked her how long the wait was and she responded with "it will be 15 minutes" and tossed the buzzer onto the counter. The buzzer ended up falling on the floor. Instead of apologizing or offering to pick it up she continued to do whatever she was doing and did not even acknowledge my existence or the fact that the buzzer was tossed on the floor. Once we got to our table I figured that everything would be better. I was mistaken. We waited 15 minutes for our server to arrive. When he came he introduced himself as James and told us about the specials that are not on the menu. We ordered our drinks and appetizers and everything seemed to be fine. We received our drinks soon after ordering them. With such a vast menu it took us a while to decide what we wanted, during that time I had drank all my water. Before ordering James passed by our table 3 times with a big jug of ice water and did not stop to refill it. I didnt get a refill until I was almost done with my meal. We ordered two appetizers and also a side of mashed potatoes for our hungry baby. James also offered to bring us some bread to snack on. We asked James if he could bring out the mashed potatoes with our appetizers and he said no problem. When our appetizers came we did not get the mashed potatoes. I assumed that they were on their way so I proceeded to feed my baby our appetizers until they came. The mashed potatoes did not come until my food came even though we asked that they come earlier. We finally decided what we were going to order, Fetuccini Alfredo with chicken for me and Shrimp with Angel hair with a side house salad for my girlfriend. Shortly after placing our order my girlfriend changed her mind and wanted the shrimp platter. I told James of the change and apologized for the inconvenience he said no problem and made the change. While waiting for our food nobody ever came a refill our drinks and my daughters mashed potatoes still had not come. About ten minutes after placing our order my girlfriends shrimp platter arrived but no salad, mashed potatoes, or bread that was offered to us earlier. The food smelled delicious and looked well made. I sat there watching my girlfriend eat most of her food while waiting for my food ,a refill on my water, and my daughters mashed potatoes and my girlfriends salad. Finally after about twenty more minutes my food arrived along with the Shrimp with Angel hair that my girlfriend originally ordered and my daughters mashed potatoes and salad. The food was warm the plate was actually hotter than the food. It looked like it was just thrown on the plate and had little flavor. The food was just another sign of how unorganized this place was. My daughter enjoyed her mashed potatoes and my Alfredo was OK. While eating I looked over to see James serving another table their bread and I wondered why we never got ours. After they got thier bread and I was almost done eating I finally got my first and only refill on my water. After I was done eating we sat there for another 15 minutes waiting to see James so that I could tell him that we were ready for the check. Nobody ever came to take the dirty plates from our table and I never got another refill. Once the bill was paid I was relieved that we would soon be leaving.

Took my husband and our son here for dinner. Frankly, I have almost nothing nice to say about our experience. Our server started out very nice if a little pushy and disorganized. She from the start rushed us to order - however, we were surprised when our food came out so quickly only to be disappointed when in the first bite we were all greeted by a mouthful of cold food. My husband told our server to which she replied, "so what do you want me to do, do want me to heat it up?" I was so shocked by how our server handled this that I couldnt even repond right away... No I didnt want her to put our outrageously expensive yet somehow already bland food into some microwave in the back. Ive worked a long time in the restaurant business - let me say if I ever treated my visitors like that I would have lost my job. This place has been on the decline for a long time. The prices have gone up considerably, the portions have shrunk, the meals are made from frozen, low quality ingredients, and the service sucked at best. The manager did come speak to us and apologized. She offered to comp the meal- okay great. We decided we would try some cheesecake which was also still frozen, soggy, and bland but we didnt want to deal with anymore issues with the server so we just asked for the check. Which we had to send back three times before our now very obviously frustrated server got the price to reflect what the manager told us it would be. My family and I will not be returning here. The service and price arent worth the food quality which is lackluster at best. Nor will we be recommending this place to any of our friends.

We were seated very quickly. We ordered drinks and water. Waited 15 minutes for them to arrive and were missing the ice waters. We asked specifically for splenda and were given all sorts of sweeteners and 2 of those-ran out and not replaced until after the manager came by later. I ordered the cobb salad with bleu cheese dressing on the side, the 10 year old and 12 yr old with me order a steak - 29.95...I know they are children however they KNOW their steak. Wow, there was more fat than steak. It was not edible. I never got any dressing- had to ask a different waitress who hurriedly brought me the wrong kind-the kids had decided the steak was horrible after 30 minutes couldnt really find anything but stingy fat to eat. I left my salad to be boxed-after they boxed their steak up THEN the bleu cheese dressing was brought. We decided to order cheese cake for dinner. THAT was good. The manager did stop by to see what was wrong- I did not want to make a scene with children present. Did tell him his waiter was rather sloooow. For over 77 dollars this was a VERY expensive lunch- and with only one steak ordered for them to split! We will not return. I have been many times to this chain back east but this location was a big disappoint in service and food.

We were seated quickly. However, the table where the 2 of us were seated was for lack of a better description, more suited for bistro dining - meaning too small. We were seated just 12 to 14" inches away from two other tables with diners. The table to my right, when seated, one of the diners had a hard time getting into the banque of seats along the wall, and caused a plate to fall, breaking into several pieces and hitting my ankle (I did not check for bleeding). The wait for food was over-long and when it was served, the server puzzled over how to get my food to me as there was no space for placing the plate. When a server did manage to squeeze between the tables, my fellow diner looked over just in time to get a view of the servers rear end just inches from her face. All in all this was not a pleasant dining experience. I will not return to the Tucson restaurant. And, I dont mind sharing my thoughts with anyone who might consider dining at the Cheesecake Factory. PEOPLE! Get rid of those tiny tables that are just inches away from the next diner. Losing just one would give the seated diners more room, the servers an entrance to serve the plate and slightly more satisfaction in the dining experience.
