Id like to start off by saying that I have always been pleased with the food; great quality, at a great price. Im also all about supporting local businesses and hope that they thrive. However, during my visit about a week and a half ago, it seems as if the service dwindled since you all moved to your own location on Zaragoza (congrats btw). It was my first time eating there since the move from Funkmeyers took place. After receiving word from another customer that he was walking out due to lack of service, my fiancee, friends, and I decided to still go in to enjoy some great food that we were accustomed to. It was obvious the employee in the front was overwhelmed, though the restaurant was less than half full. We took it upon ourselves to clear the dirty tables and placed the dirty plates on the bar top area along the wall so that we may take a seat, and even wiped the tables down since the wash rag was nearby. There are no signs to tell you to order at the register, nor did the employee tell us to come up to order, or even offer us menus. After about 10 minutes of just sitting there hoping to be attended, we simply walked out. The woman had plenty of opportunities to be able to tend to us, even a simple "order at the counter when ready" wouldve kept the 7 of us there to dine in. As mentioned, Ive been pleased with the quality of food for a while, hence why I rated it a "3 stars" instead of "1" because I feel the food makes up for the lack of customer service. Just disappointed that it seemed like the service was superior at Funkmeyers, even with a bigger volume during your $1 taco nights there.

Ive always heard really great things about tacoholics, but I never knew it was so close to my house. I was so happy to find out, that I decided to stop in today, to try them out. To my satisfaction my tacos were GREAT, you can build your own tacos. They come in fours, and theyre so friendly and the girl who took my order (never caught her name) was so sweet, and knowing it was my first time being there she helped me decide what to pick. I chose the steak, with flour, with their own signature ingredients on top. Their pineapple habanero salsa was DELICIOUS. Not to spicy, but just enough to add extra flavor. Also to my surprise the very sweet girl gave me one of their best selling tacos (Korean style) on the house, which was SO GOOD, I was so shocked, I couldnt decide between two of them and she was such a peach. Ive never had that happen to me before. I felt so special. They even have "horchata" which I didnt get, but knowing they have it Im so excited, because its my favorite. Everyone from the cooks, the other gentlemen helping the lady upfront, were all so friendly and asked me how I was doing, and if I needed anything. The crew that was working in the afternoon today definitely made my experience that much better. I appreciated it so much that I will definitely come back just to see them. I wanted to add, that the atmosphere is very welcoming and modern, very clean and the music was nice. I always come back to establishments based on the customer service I get, with that being said, I will most definitely be back! Thanks for an awesome experience. :)

My friend had told me about tacoholics and was raving about how amazing it was, well my friend tool me one day and holy moly was I amazed. Now let me tell you I normally dont like onions or Pico de Gallo, I think this was the first and only time I ate my food with it and loved it!!!! I ordered steak tacos on corn tortillas and it had the Pico and onions and queso fresco and my socks were blown off lol... I was so impressed, and then my freind ordered an order of I think they were nachos but made with home made chips with queso and grilled chicken and Pico and guac and holy guacamole I felt like I could die right then and there! I wish I could say Im being over exaggerated but Im not. I love love love love love love love this place! Just thinking of the food makes my mouth water and I want more!!!! Only bad thing I can say is that they close lol but thats probably good for my waist line lol.. I love this place and food is fresh and tastes amazing. I can tell by how packed this place gets that this place is a winner. I dont know how it could get bad reviews. But all I can say is to each his own. I love it!

I first found out about tacoholics in el paso about two and a half years ago. I was invited to lunch by my coworkers who raved about this place. I was so excited to try it because the way they described the food was mouth watering. We pull up to a corner store gas station and we all get down. I was a little confused at first but then they told me but this place wasnt all that fancy but the food was to die for. We were literally sitting in the middle of the gas station.... I have my friend order my first set of tacos for me and I immediately fell in love. Fast forward to the present time I walk in to this funky cool atmosphere and amazing customer service to order my hundreth set of tacos. This place is downright amazing. The meat regardless of whatever you choose from is to die for and the Chile is so addicting u dont want to put it down. Its awesome getting to see where they first started to where they are now. I always recommend tacoholics for anyone looking for the best tacos in town. Catch me here every Tuesday for all the goodness for just $1 EACH!!!!!

My family absolutely loves this place. The staff is amazing and friendly, the food is delicious and very flavorful!! Im not over exaggerating when I say their tacos are addicting! The prices are on point and throughout the week they have specials! Starting with our favorite Taco Tuesday!!!! You cant beat dollar tacos from Tacoholics! You can get them standard or plain from Carne Asada, pork, chicken or even tofu!!!! Wrap it all up in a tortilla or make it into a lettuce wrap! Spice it up with their salsas and wash it all down with their Aguas frescas (cucumber is my fav) or a cold bottled Coca-Cola! But wait it doesnt just end there!! They also have these huge to die for flautas ahogadas filled with your choice of meat and drenched in this green spicy sauce topped with cheese! You most definitely need to try them along with their Carne Asada fries!!! Tacoholics most definitely deserves more than a 5 star rating and if you havent been there i guarantee you will be just as addicted as we are!! Ps. If you have room grab yourself some fried oreos

Very bad service! My order came out wrong, which is ok. When they fixed my order they gave me wrong size, I didnt realize it until I heard the owner tell the cook and the waitress that they gave me the wrong one. They dont the knew that I heard them, the waitress took over 10 minutes to come back to me. I asked her about the mistake, she denied it and said she would talk to the boss, another 10 minutes went by before she came around, and I had to stop her. She told me that she didnt even ask him yet, so I waited. Another 5 minutes went by, she came back and told me that it was the right order. I heard them say it was the wrong order, this order was smaller then the times I came before. All I wanted was them to own up to the mistake and everything would have been ok, but they couldnt even do that. Their food is not that good to excuse their horrible service and a blatant ripoff. I paid over $12 for just myself.
