n April I purchased a vehicle from Crain Ford in Jacksonville. I was told two days later that I needed to return the vehicle because my boyfriend works there and I was not eligible to purchase a vehicle at the internet price. I asked for proof of the policy but was never given proof. I want to purchase the vehicle That I thought I bought. I sign paperwork, took delivery, and I drove off the lot. There should be no legal reason why I had to give the vehicle back. I have since contacted the AG and the one and only response they had was "they exercised the right to sell or not sell a vehicle" I do not understand that response, I BOUGHT the vehicle. Before I purchased the vehicle the trade was appraised by General Sales Manager Keith Ingram and the final numbers were approved by General Sales Manager Josh Meadows. On more than one occasion Mr Meadows stated that there was no issue with the transaction. It is clear that I have been singled out in a form of undue prejudice. I purchased the vehicle for the price that was listed on the website. I was told that after the transaction was complete that the CFO Chris Bird required that I pay more for the vehicle. Does the CFO review every transaction placed at every dealership or did he specifically single me out? Can the dealership provide any previous instance where a customer purchased a car and the CFO demanded that the car be returned? This clearly violates truth in advertising. For all consumers out there, be aware that Crain no longer has a better business license.

MUST READ IF YOU PLAN TO BUY A USED CAR FROM HERE! My mom and dad got me my first car, a 2008 Malibu, here over the summer in July through a car dealer named James. It was a used car that needed new hubcaps, desperate cleaning in the inside, new car locks on the doors, and the list goes on. My dad made a deal with James that if we get the car that day, James needs to get everything that we listed to be fixed. Well we should have known that EVERYTHING a car salesman promises NEEDS to be written down for proof because the people there are not to be trusted with used cars. After 4 months of begging and daily reminders I need my car fixed, James fortunately got my car door locks fixed. That was it. Nothing else he promised got fixed... My mom went to the managers and they basically had a HORRIBLE attitude with everything she complained about. (Keep in mind my mom is not the mean type of confrontational type of person, she wouldnt talk bad to a fly) When she politely listed the things that was promised to be fixed the basically told to go kiss their ass because they wont fix anything without us paying for every cent. They used the excuse that "if it wasnt written on paper, its not going to be fixed." Moral of the story, go somewhere else to shop for a used car for your kid.

Several years ago I got completely taken advantage of by one of the dealers at Crain Buick GMC in Conway Arkansas. I believe his name was Butch. I was a student at UCA and it was my first time to purchase a vehicle without the help and assistance of my parents. I guess it is my fault for telling Butch the dealer that information. Butch lured me away from the used car lot promising he could get me a much better deal on a new vehicle. I spotted a truck I liked and he said he could sell it to me for 18k. He said it was on special! Ha. Butch then told me the car I was trading in was worth 6k. I owed 6k on that car. So i should have broke even on car and bought truck for 18k, right!?! Wrong!!! Butch added the 6k I owed on the car to the 18k for a total of 24k AND Crain kept the car!!! So in effect I bought two vehicles that day and drove away with one! Not only was this dishonest and unethical, it should have been illegal! A year or so later, I realized how badly i was wronged. Too late to take it back and too embarrassed to ever show my face there again. Always read your contracts young people! I now I have sever phobia of car dealerships, car dealers, and men named Butch.

Honestly, it was a mixed experience. I called and said the recently installed radio was defective. I talked to Dustin, who gave me a time to bring it in. It took them 4 hours to get to my car and Im not convinced they even looked at it before deciding to take my word for it and order a new radio. Dustin said hed call in 2-5 days, and 2 and a half weeks later, finally did. Needless to say, I was a bit annoyed by the 4 hours it took them to get to my car initially and then the 3 weeks to hear back from them. I was incredibly pleased by my service when I actually took my car in to get the radio, however. I dropped my car off right before my scheduled time and they had it fixed in less than 2 hours. Dustin was really polite and helpful and I was thrilled that the radio issue was covered under warranty.

STAY FAR FAR AWAY ! I bought a GMC Canyon. I bought a extra Platinum plan to replace the interior any time with in the warranty period. When I tried to use it I was told that I didnt have that plan . I was told that was for extended warranty. I was out of state and told them that I knew damn well what I paid for. later I had an issue that should have been covered by the extended warranty and when I took my car there I was in formed that I didnt have the extended warranty and now my millage was over the point where they would replace my interior which they said I had. I received a letter in the mail asking me to join a class action lawsuit. I did not file the claim. Why you ask because ? because 1. it would only get some lawyer rich and 2. Scumbags usually will get whats coming to them.

This is my 5th suv I have bought from this dealership. I have had nothing but outstanding service from them. The biggest reason I come back is because of customer service. The people who work here are courteous and polite. I am always treated as though I am the most important person in the place. This is how others who I know come here also feel. Nothing but good feedback from me. Patrick looks after me even after the sale is over. Other dealerships have attempted to get my business but I always come back to Crain. The best dealership in arkansas.

I was looking for an accent or elantra for my daughter. Matt met me at the curb and introduced himself and showed me a few vehicles. Hes new and then Robert came out and helped get keys. They were very non-pressure salespeople, which I loved about them. They both worked well together and we settled on a reasonable deal. Good people and respectful and courteous.
