Honestly, Im not really sure about the company as a whole...Because, I did happen to meet a nice couple one night, who both work "high up" in the M-T downtown office...& I soon found out they dont like the person I dealt with A LOT more than I probably ever will! Anyway...long story short...M-T bought an apartment that I had long rented from Lanai...And it was awful...No more having the office down the block and seeing them everyday and getting to know one another personally anymore...gone & cold. a little while after, I became very ill and was in and out of the hospital for over a month...with no money coming in until I was better...which luckily did happen soon. So, I got behind a little on rent...which IS MY problem and I was working double to fix it. However, the late fees multiplied and multiplied way faster than I could even figure out and my bill got way outta hand...regardless of the medical records I sent in as proof of being off and my long time payment history with Lanais kind management (they would have seen the doctors records and been more understanding like human beings should be) . AND regardless that I was paying about double the next few months to try and dig my way out of the hole! And regardless of the fact I was paying so much in earnest... I mean, I could have just left and had months of money to pay someone else in advance if I was crooked like that! But I wanted to make damn sure to pay what I owed and make up to everyone for being out of work for so long and hurting tremendously at the hospital! In the end I spent hundreds in late fees (plus medical bills and other bills I had to pay without working) that they could have been more considerate of in a proven emergency...especially living there so long and never causing any probs or calling them to fix anything at all! Now...they even do the yard work or anything else hardly that Lanai management had taken care of...M-T just wants the money or you gonna pay double...dont get sick or itll be hell to pay!

Due to the recent flooding at the end of April, my apartment has been uninhabitable. I called the morning of April 30 to report the flood damage, I was told I that someone would be by the next day to assess the damage. No one came and it took repeated phone calls and emails for someone to come out to look at the apartment on the following Tuesday. Work did not begin until Wednesday and is still ongoing as of this writing. I paid the May rent early on the 28th of April. I respectfully requested that I be compensated for each day my apartment was uninhabitable and I was told I would get no more than $200 by the property management team assigned to my unit. The individuals I spoke with did not have a clear disaster recovery plan which caused the restoration process to be unnecessarily delayed. The individuals were unprofessional, and were unconcerned with my issues. I recommend staying clear of this management company if you are a renter. They are not accommodating and lack respect for the tenants they serve.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. Very difficult to work with and the laws in Arkansas protect the landlord at the expense of the tenant. I am HORRIFIED by the way management spoke to me and acted like I was dumb. Under no circumstances would I recommend signing a lease with this company. Yes, the properties are absolutely beautiful, but that is truly the only positive. If youd like to be belittled and swindled out of your money, by all means, rent from them.

I love my new apartment. Very solid experience all around.
