My family and I got signed up for Planet Fitness in Searcy Arkansas January 11, 2017 and was told that our join fee of $1.11 would be taken out of our bank. Then our first month fee of mine and my husband the $21.89 each and our son fee of $10.99 would be taken the next month on the 17th of the month. When we checked our records at the bank we had been OVERDRAWN $139.11. When we went to talk to the people at Planet Fitness we were told that everyone is not on the same page and the guy just got off the phone before we got there with a similar situation. I asked him if we were going to be getting any of the money back from them. He told me Id have to talk to a Kim when they were having their meeting for the phone calls about this. We cancelled our membership then on the 18th of January. I called tonight and talked to a manager and was given a rude answer. ( You should have read your paper). ( Its not our policy to give money back. ) Well its not our policy to tell our friends and family to go into your business and spend our money there. I cant imagine how the other places do to their clients but yall should be ashamed of yourself. Make sure you tell people about when the money will be taken out of the banks and I did ask the lady when we went to finish getting signed up when our fees would be drafted and she told me and my son that it would be in February on the 17th. So I dont appreciate the rudeness that I got from this manager today. We all three of us could have still been a clients there if your staff would have all been on the same page. We had to pay our bank the entire $139.11. Because of you. We had to let other things go because of it. So thank you. Get everyone to tell the clients the truth about when the fees will be drafted. Clean and new, tons of treadmills and cardio equipment. Good for getting back into shape. No free weights other than dumbbells but its not really for the meathead gym rats. They have a custom area for a 30 minute workout component weights with cardio. Personal trainer available by appointment or in group sessions. The membership is a great deal either $10 or $20 per month depending on what perks you want. The base membership allows full use of the equipment and locker room. The black card ($20) allows you to bring a guest to workout with. Plus access to a spa area with hydromassage loungers, massaging chairs, tanning, as well as access to any Planet fitness location if you travel. Ive been a member for less than a week and enjoy the positive vibe of the place, the staff has been friendly and helpful. They advertise as a judgement free zone and live up to it so far.

I havent been in a gym in about 23 years. Ive had 3 back surgeries and the staff was very helpful with making sure the trainor could help workouts with having a disability. Planet fitness is the best decision ive made in long time!!!! I recommend it for all wanting to workout!!!!

No personal movie screens on the ellipticals, limited programming on the larger screens so if you wanted to settle in for a movie while using the ellipticals, forget it.
