I love the idea of PF and how cheap it is. I have been a member for roughly five months and enjoy going here, especially with friends. Love that they offer TV to connect to on their machines and you dont even notice how fast time flies. Also would say that we need another PF in Eau Claire, because this one is chaotically busy and does put a little "gym-timidation". Also would say it is just too crowded in general with all their equipmen and sometimes I like a little privacy when working out. Especially in the stretching areas. Their machines are kind of hard to figure out too. Im scared to use most of them because I dont want to look like an idiot. Normally there is a long wait for any lay down tanning. They do have very nice quality tanning beds and also offer stand up. I love their massage beds and how you are able to control the speed and pressure yourself. They have a very friendly staff that always greets you and the gym itself is always clean.

If you do not have a membership to Planet Fitness get one immediately. Their business model is amazing. I renewed in January and have lost 25 lbs. and Ive gained muscle too. I owe so much to PF because now exercise is something I GET to do, and not something I HAVE to do, and I feel great. I have been to dozens of locations between WI and FL, and at first I was disappointed because this store is the smallest one. This was hard to get used to. But they make up for it in many ways: The staff are very friendly, accommodating, and non-judgemental. They are centrally located with easy access to 93 and 53. And their showers are the best of all the locations. Really, they are! If they expand their current location, they will be 5 stars. After you join, pay a visit to the Green Bay East location and youll know what I mean.

If youre serious about fitness, dont go here. Its always busy, unless you go between 11pm and 5am. The stretching area is super small and always filled with people. They only have three stairmasters, which are almost always filled. Its impossible to get youre full workout done while youre there. They dont have a large selection of weight machines either. Its a good gym for people who arent very serious about their fitness goals. The staff are super nice, the place is clean, and they have pizza nights and bagel mornings (which seems counterproductive). If you plan on working out for two months and then quitting, this is the perfect place for you, and you wont be losing a lot of cash. If youre really serious about fitness, just spend the extra money on a better gym.

I joined just 2 weeks ago. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful if you have questions. I signed up to meet with the personal trainer Tony and he created an exercise plan for me. He has helped me with the machines and learning how to maneuver my way through everything. I am very pleased to report I am already losing weight and have increased my strength to be able to add more weights to the machines! Very happy with Eau Claires Planet Fitness. I encourage everyone to meet with Tony, he is very helpful and really enjoys helping you reach your fitness goals.

Handled billing terrible. I cancelled soon after joining because I didnt care for the gym. They made me go through a bunch of hoops and physically come in, sign paperwork, show ID, etc. I found out a year later that theyve been bleeding my account every month. When I spoke to them I heard them say to another employee saying "Dude, I dont know what to do" and then they backpedaled saying I never cancelled. Furthermore, they did not refund me anything. Terrible place that cost me $150+ of unnecessary charges. My advice is if you cancel, have a lawyer present.

Honestly i wouldnt recommend anyone to here! I know several people that have had bad experience with one of the managers there named Adam. He is very disrespectful and rude. Managers are suppose to be friendly and someone you can go to if there is a problem. After trying to nicely discuss my problems with him he told me that i needed to pipe down and then hung up on me. I myself am a manager and know that is not the way to keep business with people. I will definitely not be going back there and i will be letting everyone else know about my experience here!

I have been a member with Planet Fitness for over a year now and I have to say I love it! The people that work at the front desk are the best I have ever experienced at any gym Ive ever been too. The price for the gym membership is really reasonable even including the yearly maintenance fee (only charged 1 a year unlike most gyms). I love how fast Planet Fitness fixes their equipment you will never see a piece of equipment out of order for more than a day at the most. There is only one con which is the gym needs to be bigger especially with the new year.

Love going here. Great Price, friendly stuff and clean everywhere. Just wish the changing room would be bigger and the shower curtain would be wider so it wouldnt keep a gap while showering. It also seems to get very busy on certain times.-Hope they open a second one in Eau Claire soon (preferably on the west side). I would love that!

Great experience for so little money! Im trying to lose weight for my wedding and planet fitness has made it possible! I love how close it is, i love the variety in machines, I love the tvs that can help keep you occupied. If i had a complaint it would be that the locker rooms can get really cramped at a buisy time of the day.

Planet Fitness provides a simple, clean workout facility for those looking for primarily cardio workouts. There are some free weights, but its full of treadmills, ellipticals, and exercise bikes. Separate ab workout area, as opposed to the 30-minute full body workout area that Ive seen at other Planet Fitness locations.

The staff is friendly and they have a wide selection of machines to use. The have a huge selection of treadmills. You dont have to worry about not finding an empty one to use. This membership price is super cheap, but comes with a cost. If you dont already know there are no benches or squat racks, only Smith machines.

Dont let anyone tell you that you cant get buff here - haters gonna hate. There is enough equipment so it is not often that you cant get to your next piece of equipment. Also the black card membership - GREAT investment... You can pay more for just an unlimited tanning membership elsewhere in town but why?

This place has to many lazy and unmotivated employees. Customer satisfaction isnt their concern. Your likely to see them texting while sitting next to the cooler. Need to use a massage bed, that is only permissible if youre one of their friends even though the sign out sheet hasnt been updated in 2 hours.

Friendly staff, great facility and tons of equipment to work on. Water for showers could be warmer and showers cleaned out a little more often. Another suggestion--Divide the 2 huge dressing rooms in half so there are 4 dressing rooms. Otherwise the Eau Claire Planet Fitness is well run!!
