There for the first time this morning, and I enjoyed it: the front-desk staff were friendly and acknowledged me, and since the last reviews almost two years ago, A/C has most likely been installed because there was no stench of anything, and, yes, they have the new equipment that, for example, the 24 Hour in Anaheim has too. I only saw two minus points for this gym: the showers seem to be left over from the 80s, but they put out a decent stream of water, so it is a +/-, and the lockers are somewhat awkward, with a ledge in front of them to sit down, so no bench like at other gyms, and to pick up this "negative" there is a powerful air-blower/hand-dryer hanging on the wall. Oh, and one more point: careful when exiting the showers and going into the locker room, because there is air circulating there too...somewhat cool.

I have been in quite a few of the 24 Hour Fitness locations, and this is one of my favorites. It is smaller than most and does get quite busy, but they do a great job of keeping it clean and the weights racked & stacked. They usually have a couple of equipment maintenance issues, ie. one or two pieces of equipment broken or missing parts, but they are fairly quick to get those issues fixed. The locker/shower rooms are kept clean and are in decent shape. My only gripe would be how busy it gets late in the afternoon on weekdays, but I cant blame them for when people choose to show up.

Ive been coming here on and off since 1998-99ish way back when it was newer... Now its old and the weights (barbells and dumbbells) have wear. Feels like an old school gym. The cardio equipment is relatively new and its studio dance/exercise floor has lots of space. It often gets packed out. Cant really complain about a gym. You go in with a plan, execute the plan, and get out. Even though its not my home gym, I still like visiting it from time to time, because its a nice change of scenery at times plus there are workout equipment in that gym that you dont find in others.

New to the area, came in to check the place out as its close to my place. Friendly staff but the place is a dump and its pricey. Old equipment in poor shape. Paint is half missing on a lot of the equipment. Stinky bathrooms etc. Wont be signing up, especially not at the rates they charge!

I stopped going there because it has very old machines and if I workout there I cant keep up with my workout log since the machines are different. It gets packed!!!!! I have taken more then 20 min just waiting to start my workout!!! Impossible!

I agree with the other reviews. With all the money the company chargers members they should be able to provide clean and working bathrooms, replace the old smelly work out mats, and repair the treadmills to say the least.

Changing previous review from 3 stars to 4. Good gym, thank you Steven for fixing treadmills and the flowers in the bathroom are a pretty touch! Their front desk staff rocks :)

This gym is older and smaller than the location on La Paz, but I like this location better. The staff is friendly, everything is clean, and the class instructors are better.

Its a Dump, there is no WIFI- get with the program. The restrooms and showers are so smelly and out of date...

Not exactly a hygienic gym. The locker room is pretty grimy. Couldnt imagine showering here, ugh.
