This is the absolute worst gym that I have been to. I work early in the morning and like to workout everyday at around 5am. So I move down here and sign up for a pass online because I needed a 24 hour gym. I get a call 45 minutes later from a sales manager asking when I can come in and I tell him at 5am the next day. He says thats great just print the pass. I get there and the rude guy at the front desk tells me he cant activate the pass because there are no sales managers there until 10am. So i had to pay $20 to use the gym. This is the first problem The actual weight room was a complete mess. Broken machines, everything was extremely dirty, weights were everywhere and many were missing. The staff was rude and didnt do anything to help or clean up, and when I left I wanted to speak to a manager. There wasnt even a manager there until 10am and the only person was this 18 year old kid who told me that she couldnt do anything to help. Once again, this was the worst gym I have ever worked out in and I would not recommend this to anyone, no matter how convenient or close it is. I would give this a negative star rating if I could and I put this on yelp as well

Im going to have to disagree with the bad reviews below. Being a resident at this gym for over 7 years, there has been some problems in the past, but it is finally undergoing renovation. The gym is new outside with freshly painted asphalt for parking aesthetics but the inside as well. The swimming pool and sauna have been redone with new floors and walls. The 1st floor has more equipment especially in the training area including but not limited to: kettle balls, medicine balls, sand bags, sand balls, dumbbells, and a TRX system. 2nd floor added an additional cross fit style exercise area with squat stations, monkey bars, and special 45 lb plates with an iron core for the typical lunkers. The basketball court is in the process of being renovated as well. Ive also signed up for training and it is well worth the price. I had a severe case of runners knee 3 years ago and walking downstairs was occasionally painful. After about 6 months of rehab and stability readjusting, I was able to run a half marathon in November 2015 and was able to do 3 sets of 10 reps on the incline leg press with six 45 lb plates. By the way, Im only 130 lbs.

I am very disappointed at the filth at 24 hours fitness. I made some suggestions but NOTHING IS ever done! Same broken clogged shower heads. Same filth on the floors. Same empty soap dispensers. Same scum floors in the shower area. Same 30 odd lockers always taken with permanent locks by the homeless. Suggested installing a swim trunk ringer to dry trunks. NOTHING Suggested numerous times to repaint the old red floor to match the 24 hour fitness logo to brighten and clean the place up. NOTHING ZERO ZIP ZILCH GETS DONE! This 24 hour fitness is a near den of apathy. I wrote tocorporate nicley suggesting these repaitrs. NOTHING! I called the Mangers which are like revolving doors. A new one each month NOTHING. I left suggestions in the suggestion box. They probably end up in the round file. I spoke to employees and the politely nod, yes and agree, nothing is done except they keep the doors open. This is my first time joining 24, not impressed at all.

Dec 30, 2016 I just recently join I think its a great gym... one thing like most people is that the bathroom need to be worked on a bit to look nice but I dont spend my time in the bathroom so I dont really care... I like the pool, staff is friendly, and machines are great I even like the cross fit station in the entrance. Whats funny is that it seems everyone segregated like the cardio people down stairs, muscular people up stairs, all the old guys in the sauna, jacuzzi, and showers. The basketball court is cool but that aint my cup of tea also theres a space upstairs thats quiet that you can use to work out in just as long as there isnt a class going on. It looks like a dance studio wood floors and mirrors. That machines are clean I see the cleaning ladys at night hand washing them and its not there sanitizer bottle and Towels to clean the handlebars. The reviews on here must be old because I just recently join and I like it.

Worst workout experience ever. Apparently this gym is BYOP (bring your own pin) because most of the machines do not have pins to select the weight that you want. Also, dont even think about using any dumbells between 5 and 40 pounds, because they dont even have them. When I first walked in the guys working at the front desk were checking out girls that walked by and making comments among themselves. I went to ask one of them a question and I got the attitude like I was interrupting him. The kind of members that this gym attracts are the guys that are way to concentrated on themselves to notice how much they are getting in everyones way. The whole enviornment gave me the impression of what it must be like to work out in a prison gym. This gym needs to be shut down permanently, or at the very least long enough to do a complete over haul of staff and facility.

I have been to most of the 24 hr. gyms in oc., mainly the only difference from all of them is the people who go there. In the rich area most of them wine and complaim about things, and in the poor arears they complain less, if your unhappy go to the rich arears, but the clubs are the same, just move to different areas and you will see im right. most of the customers dont know what a gym is supposed to be, is supposed to be sweaty and you should smell some sweat, if you dont then it isnt a gym, you fools. To all the commplainers about 24 hr. fitness, dont blame your miserable life on them, the employees work hard and do the best they can, they cant fix your entire life for you. why do you expect them to do?

I used to go here a lot of over the summer. The guy who signed me up was really nice and helpful. Starting out here wasnt too bad, but I didnt like all the meat headed college students who walked around with their chests puffed out. I started working out at home and then decided to try it again the other night. It was the worst experience Ive ever had. I literally warmed up for 10 minutes and went home. The pins had been stolen from every machine I went to, so I decided to just run on the treadmill instead but the only one available was broken. At that point I had had enough and left. Also, the water fountain on the second lever tastes like iron. Gross.

Left my lock at home so I bring change in to use the coined lockers. First locker I tried had 2 quarters in it so I tried it....was broken. Second locker ate the coins before I could turn the key. Third locker wouldnt let me turn the key all the way and it ate the coins too. Tried one more and what do you know it ate my coins again. Hmmm....out of the 10 coined lockers...one didnt have a door, another out of order and from my experience 4 more out of order. Equipment there is like all others but doesnt feel as spread out. Basketball court can be taken care of better. I normally go to brea and they are way better then this place
