I OPERATE A DRIVING SCHOOL. 5 CARS. WE USED BEAR MOUNTAIN EXCLUSIVELY FOR 15 YEARS UNTIL MY WIFE DECIDED TO OPEN HER OWN REPAIR SHOP. DAVE IS A FORMER RACE CAR OWNER/DRIVER AND KNOWS EVERYTHING ABOUT CARS. HE IS HONEST AND DOESNT DO REPAIRS THAT ARE UNNECESSARY LIKE MANY OTHER SHOPS. HE MANAGED TO KEEP OUR CARS IN GREAT SHAPE FOR THE GRUELING SERVICE THEY REQUIRE. HIS RATES ARE REASONABLE AND HE FITS HIS SCHEDULE INTO YOURS. Dave is amazing! My car broke down 2 hours away from my home - I left it with him and since he was unable to get the car to replicate the problem he made the choice to not start charging me for parts and labor when the problem wasnt certain. He gave me wonderful advice to upgrade my AAA membership and sent me on my way without charging me a dime! I couldnt believe what an upstanding and generous man he was. If I lived anywhere near Bakersfield he would be my #1 choice for mechanic! Give him your business!!!!!

We were traveling cross country through Bakersfield when our Jeep started making a crazy rattling noise. It was just after working hours, but the good folks at Bears stuck around and gave it a quick inspection with some good advice, and asked nothing in return. Thanks guys, youre a lifesaver!

We just left from Dave after repair. His shop was shop during labor day, but luckily he was there and talk to us. And he was able to fix leaking and change water pump in our car really quickly next morning. Thank you!
