So, I Joined this gym about 6 months ago. About 2 weeks ago another gym in the area opened up. I wanted to try that gym because this gym is ALWAYS crowded no matter what time you go. So I went to the other gym and liked the atmosphere as well as the equipment(newer and cleaner). I go back to Fitness 19 to cancel my gym membership because I decided to join the other one. The man at the desk started telling us negative things about the other gym and how you cant wear hats or tanks and all that stuff which was completely false. Anyways I looked past that and didnt say anything. He really didnt want to cancel our memberships so instead he told me that he would put me on "vacation mode". I asked if it was free and if I would be charged again on the 15 of the month(Their billing cycle) and he said no, you will not be charged. So I initialed on a line and signed on another. Today, which is the 15th of May I get a charge on my CC for the gym? I go in and ask why they are charging me the fee? They told me that they explained to me that there was going to be a charge and there was a 30 day cancellation time. All of this crap was never told to me when I signed the papers. I told them that they did not tell me that and instead show me another paper with my initials that I never did!!!!! On top of it those are not how I write my initials! So on top of not telling me about the fees they also forged my initials! This place is CRAP! DO NOT GO HERE. Bunch of liars. There are much better gyms to join than this one. Please save your time and money.

HORRIBLE!!! HORRIBLE!!! I joinged this gym in July.. they never game me a copy of the contract..After few visits I stopped going I wasnt pleased with the gym environment and the way its kept the machines are dirty and not enough equipment. I call them and told them I wanted to cancel and they said all I had to do was coming and sign a cancellation form I have been trying to cancel my membership for a while they are making it difficult to cancel. They want me to pay an additional month before they can cancel. I have gone twice to try to cancel. I finally I said ok I will pay that stupid additional month but can you email me the cancelletion contract and I will sign it and send the payment along with it. This rude female employee who is supposed to be the manager threated me to ruin my credit and to add more insult she hang up on me...RUDE, RUDE poor customer service all they want is your money. This place really sucks. This is the worse place I been to. DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM..SHOP AROUND first.

I rarely go to the gym, but today I decided to go(March 14th, 2014). I was only there for a little more then an hour. After using every machine there, my hands felt disgusting, and dirty, and since they are remodeling there wasnt even a bathroom for me to wash them. They did have 1 bottle of spray and paper towels thrown in a corner for you to clean your machines. I cleaned 3 of the 4 machines I used, but on my drive home, I realized my entire arms and legs had broken out in hives. This has never happened to me before, and I know it happened to me, because these machines were DIRTY. The mirrors had sweat marks dripping down them, the machines were sticky, and there was a scent of paint and onions in the entire gym. Im sorry, but id rather pay $35 dollars a month just to use a clean gym. If you are planning to go here, take a can of Lysol and some hand sanitizer, you ARE going to need it.

Reasonable in fees. Very clean gym. Staff is very friendly. Manager Romeo is very friendly and co-operative. 5 stars for trainer "Jason". Jason helped me achieve my goal of weight loss. He helped me get back to pre-pregnancy weight and shape. Jason is very knowledgable trainer. He knows variety of exercises. He knows about diet plan. He gets into the details and make a work-out plan for a particular person. Very cheerful and friendly guy. He is not money oriented. When he trains, he is totally into the session. He does not count every minute like other trainers do.Jason made my father (who is 67 years old)achieve his goal too. My father lost 15 pounds in 4 months. He was very healthy and fit when he reached the target. Very happy with the gym and trainer "Jason".

The staff is very nice, helpful, and the gym is well maintained. This gym has dumbbells, one squat rack, two benches, and a lot of cardio machines. The safety pins on the squat rack cannot be adjusted and it is very awkward to unrack. The benches for barbell bench press are very slippery so its difficult to remain stable throughout the sets. The gym is often extremely crowded. Ive had to wait over 30 minutes for the squat rack while someone is overhead pressing in it and socializing between sets. If youre even slightly serious about fitness, I would not recommend this gym. If all you want to do is cardio and/or socialize then this is the gym for you. I regret getting a membership here since there are better gyms for similar prices

if there was a negative star system I would give it to this place... I cancelled my membership in feb. I got charged march , april, may, I was giving the run around not 1 or twice but EVERYDAY!!! I spoke to "Elizabeth" or what ever her name is , she calls her self a "bookkeeper" to inform her of this and she tells me sorry you have to call our 3rd party company. I call their 3rd party company im on hold for IDK 33 min & 27 sec. just for them to tell me that Fitness 19 has to reverser all the payments! I call back and Ms. Bookkeeper doesnt come in till 10:30 am, I was told to call back them as of today .... I AM STILL BEING CHARGED!!!! I will be reporting them to the BBB! I know I am not the only client they do this to!

I have been with fitness 19 for 3 years and it has been a fantastic experience so far. The best part of my training has been the attention I have received from personal training sessions. In particular, Jason Nguyen as a personal trainer has helped me in my transformation. Earlier I struggled with discipline and figuring out how much exercise is too much or too less for me. Jason guided me each step of the way with constant mentoring, monitoring and enabling me to iteratively enhance intensity of my workout session. I cant thank enough to Fitness 19 and especially Jason for helping me with my fitness and overall enhancing my quality of life. Way to go:-)

Consumer Beware Your personal information is NOT safe at Fitness 19. I recently had an issue where my personal information was retrieved and used without my permission. What you should know…the clubs are independently own, all billing is done on site at each individual club, there is NO corporate personal to speak with (according to two club managers I spoke with) and if there was every any type of vandalism at any of these locations ALL of your personal information would be in jeopardy due to everything they know about YOU (ie: CC #’s, checking accounts, addresses, phone #’s) is stored on a desktop at each location.
