LA Fitness, wow this place needs to get it together. The club is totally filthy with trash all over the place. The cardio machines are a total mess and with stains of sweat from users. The pool area glass needs to be clean, is so stained with scum that worries me to even touch the glass door. Dont expect friendly staff as most of them are so vein that they might as well charge for you to look at them. It seems to me that the manager needs to pay more attention to the facility instead of sitting upfront waiting to target whoever comes in for membership. During my tour of the facility I can sadly say that I was impressed with all the filthyness..... and to be honest I will not recommend this place to anyone. My advice to the staff will be to be more friendly and easygoing with the members, to the manager will be to pay more attention to the cleanliness of the facility. Over all to my review this LA Fitness needs Immediate attention.

I would rate this gym four stars However, I am unable to based on the gay issues this gym faces. Out of all the LA Fitness, this gym wins hands down to all of them based on gay stuff, the Locker room is as gay as they come, showers, steam room, restrooms are out of control, I have seen more than enough. Guys, playing with each other, come on take it home not at the gym. LA Fitness Montebello, wins the all gay award in sexual playing, and management does NOTHING about it! Suggestion, fire the head of the gym and find someone else that cares.

Of all the LA Finess locations in this area, I would have to say that its the best! The location is pretty new and very well maintained. Regardless of the time of day I am always able to find a piece of equipment to use. The staff is decent and the patrons are all in their own little world, so you wont be bothered. Oh yeah, all the cardio equipment has TVs, so if its your thang you can catch up on some news or indulge in some junk TV.

Over crowded, people leave their bags on the floor instead of the locker room. Teenagers running around acting dumb. People hogging up the machines not working out just on their phones ugghh! And what really pisses me off is when the trainers approach me in the middle of my work out and start trying to get me to agree to an appt of course thats extra $$$! Can never do a full workout without interruptions!

Dont feel appreciated and welcome in This place, they dont care about you, no friendly customer service and they pretend to listen to you about situations you say for them To understand for your needs to come to this gym & finances, they just care about your money. I cancelled the next few days. Not Worth it, they need to wipeout the whole sales staff Maybe one out few are good people there.

This is my first time coming to this club,i just got first time bad impression, Spoke to Kevin the Supervisor he did not show me that the club is good and worth joining. I dont t feel appreciated and welcome in This place, they dont care about you as new member, no friendly customer service, i felt like he already has to many customers and he dont need any more to join this club or gym.

So I was just there and they just closed the gym for a staff members birthday right now at 12pm. It says they are suppose to be opened. I think this is very unprofessional of the gym to do that without any notice. Not to mention the constant notice of them closing. "The gym will be closing in 10 minutes, 5 minutes, the gym is closed". How very rude of them to do such a thing.

It smells, equipment missing handles or dont have spare sets for other patrons to use. Needs more shoulder, abb, and valve machines. Patrons dont use towels and thats how bacteria grows not to mention ring worm. Supervisors and other employees on their phones instead of making sure place is clean 2-3 guys working their Ass off. Piss poor management. No teamwork there.

The staff here is very unprofessional.I needed help with an error on my membership and i was being passed over from employee to employee.It seems like none of them were trained for their job.Its very frustrating as a customer to go in and spend an hour trying to have them fix a problem they didnt know how to fix.CANCELLED MY MEMBERSHIP.YMCA IS A MUCH BETTER CHOICE.

It has everything you may need to work out BUT THEY NEVER HAVE CONTROL OF THE TRACK, FAR TOO MANY TIMES I HAVE RUN INTO PERSONAL TRAINERS AND MEMBERS BLOCKING THE TRACK, INSTEAD OF GETTING BETTER AS LAFITNESS THEY REGRESSED, as BALLYS THEY CONTROLLED THIS ISUE, I ONLY GO TO THIS GYM BECAUSE ITS CLOSE TO MY HOME. MENS REST ROOMS HAVE ALSO BEEN SO DIRTY as well.

This facility was crowded, dirty, and the lockers are too small to handle a small gym bag. I went in, used the bathroom (filthy), opened a tiny locker, closed it, and left. Not for me. There were a lot of people there - a LOT - so, there seems to be a market for the conditions, but it was pretty gross for me. I still LOVE LA Fitness, just not this one.

The workers there dont seem to know whats going on half the time, and if you confront them with something there usually rude and unprofessional. However the machines that they have are good, I just feel that they have to add more machines because as the day goes on it gets more and more croweded and it becomes hard to get your desired machine.

Amazing staff, and great facility. The staff keep the gym floor clean and organized (when busy, they try their best). The juice bar is efficient in keeping up with orders, and are very polite. Also, this gym has a steam room, saunas, pool, large Jacuzzi, and a cold dip. I highly recommend visiting this gym if you are in the area!

The Worst! Legit the Worst!! Horrible customer service Montebello and Monterey Park locations. Super Unorganized especially at the Montebello location, no one re racks anything back, not even the staff members. Barbells are missing (you can find them all over the gym laying around) as well as the dumbells and plates.

The gym is pretty good, unfortunately no basketball court. They have a good variety of machines and dumbbells. It gets very crowded after about 5pm. One of my pet peeves is people not re-racking dumbbells, which happens a lot here, they are scattered just about everywhere. Aside from that its a good gym for the $

For the value of your money and the amount of members you get adequate service and maintenance. I like the fact they are always cleaning the pool. Oh, the pool is a Olympic junior size and 4 1/2 deep with four lanes not three!!! It also has a cold dip spa about 36 to 38 degrees water! Great for sore muscles.

Nice, except mens flooring outside the steam room, sauna going to the swimming pool appearance looks very bad! Needs to be scrubbed! Also, I have reported it before, the area outside the steam room, lots of mosquitoes flying around. This area needs to be sprayed to prevent people getting sick.
