The place opens at 10. I got there at 10:30. None of the chicken was ready. So I paid for an overpriced piece of fried chicken and a leg/thigh. It was tasty, but mediocre for the $4 per piece. I had to wait for the leg/thigh to come out, and while there was only one to two customers in the store, the counter service guy forgot about my order 5 minutes after I placed it, then they tried to charge me again for it.

I love the atmosphere, service is fine, food was alright. I got the chicken panini, which is grilled chicken, brie cheese and aoili. Feel like there should be some kind of vegetable in it, tomato or greens. Kind of plain tasting without, I guess I can ask if I go again. Everything was kind of overpriced for the quality

Ordered a half chicken to eat in. Was told they didnt have any. I pointed out they had TWO whole chickens in the display case. No reaction. So ordered the whole chicken. She asked if I wanted it cut up. TOO STUPID OR LAZY TO DO HER JOB, so I walked.

I love the salads at poulet. Curried chicken salad and beet salad are my favorites. I hear the other food is good, but I cant resist eating these every time I come. So 5 stars on the salads.. Review of other food is pending until I diversify.

For fancy or special occasions I go to Chez Panisse or Ramen Shop, but for healthy, tasty everyday meals I go to Poulet. Its local with fresh produce and interesting menu. You really cant beat it!
