Ive been to Shattuck twice now, and both times have been very impressed. Trying to sell an old family minivan is hard to do when the paint is so old and scratched that its hard to see the car beneath it. I had them repaint it a nice blue and it looked fantastic, sleek and glossy like it did the day we bought it. The first time I was here was under more unfortunate circumstances, my brother and I were hit from the side by a truck at an intersection in Berkeley not far from the Shattuck facility. We asked for the nearest place to tow the car and someone told us that this place was just a few blocks down. We called and they were most helpful, came out right away. Got the car towed and hitched a ride from a friend. My brother and I emphasized to Shattuck that our car was our only method of transportation apart from the public system. They were very sympathetic to our needs and hurried the repair process along. These guys were great and will always have my respect and approval for the help that they gave me then. Definitely recommend

I got into an car accident in Berkeley and didnt want to move my car all the way home to get it fixed, so I found this Berkeley auto body shop on Shattuck in Berkeley, called Shattuck Auto Collision Center. A friend of mine said theyve been around for a long time, my insurance company approved of them and the shop seemed very clean, so I gave them a shot. The Car, a 1002 Honda, came back perfect. The auto body work was flawless and the car ran great. No new noises or rattles. If youre searching for a good auto body shop in Berkeley or near Oakland, Shattuck Auto Collision Center is your best choice.

I got into a very slight fender bender and needed to have the rear bumper replaced. The quote they gave me was $1300. I just couldnt believe it could be that much. I checked the itemized estimation and they charged me nearly double for parts. (I later looked online for the parts). Later, I took my car into another body shop in Santa Cruz and the quote was $650. Careful....

This review is for a business called Dent Menders. It rents space from Shattuck Auto Collision Center on the weekends. It is run by a man named Alex. He is amazing. I backed into a neighbors car, and dented it pretty bad. Alex fixed the dent good as new.
