This post office is horrible. Numerous times they have failed to deliver packages that could easily fit in my mailbox, and left a note saying to pick it up at the post office. When Ive gone to pick it up, they seemed to have trouble finding the package each time. Today, I tried to retrieve a package after getting one of those notes, and they said they didnt have it, and the carrier might have had it on their truck for redelivery, despite the fact that the note said I needed to pick it up. The workers there seemed not to know what was going on, nor care. The package still hasnt been redelivered. Ive also had something stolen out of an envelope before I got to it, presumably by someone in the postal service here, which I believe is a felony. If I could take my business elsewhere I would, but unfortunately this is the office all my mail goes through, so I am forced to deal with them (way more frequently than I would prefer). Worst post office ever.

This morning we opened the door to see about three steps from our covered front door entrance a soggy, falling-apart Amazon package (containing vitamin supplements). A heftier throw would have landed it under that roof. Our regular USPS person usually either rings our doorbell or knocks on the door to alert us. We heard nothing so the package soaked to the point that the package was falling open. If the package contained books they would have been soaked and unusable. Our closest Post Office is on Solano Avenue in Berkeley.

I have been using this substation for many years. The employees are perfectly fine --- friendly, personable, helpful --- but the line is usually long and it moves slowly. The waits most often range from 5 minutes to 20 minutes. On rare occasions, 1-2 minutes. The problem is simple---not enough employees because not enough $$. Also, the very useful stamp machines and weighing scale were removed a few years ago. This is all a reflection of our USPS dying a slow lingering death, I suppose. Such a sad thing to see.

Its the worse USPS office Ive ever seen out of 10 different states and at least 20 different zipcodes I have had in my life in USA. I have disputed many items I have purchased because they didnt deliver them in time. And every time Ive got to sign on a mail to receive I go there and never found it the next day or even the next couple of days. I hope someone can do something about that mess!!

Their service is very poor, once I went there and with many clients there was just one staff taking care of them for about 15 minute. I just wanted to drop a package but they did not provide me the right package for it and I left it. Unless there is a mandatory I never use USPs specially this store is tge worst.

Never have any trouble here at all. I sell goods on ebay and usually print my own shipping label at home. Following day drop off ready to go. In and out less than a minute. Parking on the street here may be a bit difficult. High flow of traffic and car doors are bound to get knock off if not paying attention.

I am incensed. I cant understand how inept USPS is at this point. I have called every branch in Berkeley because they are not delivering my mail for the past two weeks. The woman hung up on me after I asked who would be able to help. Is receiving mail not a legal right? This system needs to be overhauled.

These people were great and it was so much faster than going downtown. However, I can see that the woman who was helping us so much also was not the type to take a lot of sh!+, so if you are whiny or something I bet you will have a much different experience. Very helpful, very fast!

Good place to put packages you never want to see again. Everything I ship from this Post Office disappears forever. No amount of phone calls will resolve the never moving tracking info, and the recipient never gets what I sent them. Stick to UPS!

It says they open at 7:30am, but if you want to deliver something, "the window" seems to open at 9am M-F, not sure about Sat. These people have always done a great job, especially with how busy it gets! Thank you!

Great local place for your postal needs. I always go here for 3 years now and clerks always meet me with a smile. Very professional and friendly service. Often open past working hours if you already inside.

Not very organized. Follow up on a certified mail was referred to another post office number to call when in fact it was at their location all the time.

This is my local post office so I go often cause it is convenient but it is often under staff so lines can be pretty long at times.
