Magnolia Car Wash looks great on the outside...but looks are deceiving. Bottom line: when in Burbank, avoid Magnolia. Your $14+ is much better spent elsewhere. Here are the reasons for my 1-star review: * The employees seemed to be in foul moods. They were complaining to each other and yelling things. Ive been to dozens of car washes so its to be expected. Still, a little service goes a long way to make customers feel comfortable. * 2 guys vacuumed my car for a total of 15 seconds. One guy opened 2 side doors and the other opened the trunk. Its a 4-door car - one of these guys probably shouldve noticed that HALF of the car wasnt even touched. Sure enough, when I retrieved my car after the windows were washed, the seats and carpets still showed dirt. It was as if NEITHER vacuum guy actually tried to vacuum anything. Disclaimers: I keep a pretty clean car, inside and out. It wouldve taken each guy 1-2 minutes MAX to properly vacuum the cabin. Also, I watched from 10-15 feet away when they were vacuuming and washing the car in the tunnel. Youd think these employees would do a better job if the customer is standing there watching. Not so at Magnolia. * There was a greasy sap residue on my paint after the detailing was complete. A very visible amount. Its black paint so its not the end of the world - its just something they should have caught. * When I walked back to the cashier to ask if her guys can re-vacuum my car, the door was locked. I drove back to the car wash entrance and they had just closed up. All the vacuum hosed were put away for the night.

Had some friends tell me about this place but didnt have any recommendations one way or another. So I checked yelp and despite some pretty bad reviews I tried it anyways. Read that they had a coupon online so I tried to go to their site but it wasnt working. Called the place and the lady who answered the phone said that they accepted ALL competitive coupons from other car washes. So I came in with one. Not only did they not accept it for what it offered all they would accept is to give me their lowest version wash for their lowest price, not even close to what the coupon offered. When I asked why I was told on the phone they accepted ALL competitive coupons he basically told me to go somewhere else. Very rude and they lie to you online. So I asked a few people waiting for their cars and they said they only go here because its close to home but that the service was far from superior. My recommendation is dont give them your business.

This place should just be an emergency car wash. DO NOT GET YOUR CAR DETAILED HERE i got a 40 plus wash and wax their products are legit they opened up a new can of meguiers wax in front of me but their workers are garbage. The reason why is cause they will treat your car the same way as someone who is just getting their 6.99 carwash thats exterior only. My interior looks like if someone just dusted it, they washed my floor mats really good thou but left the panel by my feet still dirty. The workers did not care for my car they though cause i have white car i would not notice the wax haze left over but it was so much i had to ask them to buff more i can understand a little left over cause its by hand but it was really bad. Im glad i only got their wash and wax cause i cant imagine if i would of spent more money and for sure would of gotten the same result as a basic car wash

Realistically the worst car wash, poorest service by manager and cheapest car wash I have ever been to. I paid for package #4 and they did not clean the seats, the dash, the cup-holders, the floor mats - and the mirrors and windows were covered in spots and rag remains. As well, it took nearly 40 minutes. After I was cleaning the seats and dash and windows myself for 15 minutes I asked to speak to a manager. The manager acted like a defensive child and claimed that If I wanted the inside clean I would have had to buy a more expensive package. I showed him that I got Package #4 for about $20.00 and it includes interior. He acted even more defensive and tried to argue with me so I left This place is cheap, lacks professionalism and the manager acted like a child with no sense of customer service.

Decent car wash, but have had much better for less. Paid $40 for the hand was and shampoo of floor mats on top of everything else. There were corners of Windows and lower brake lights that were thoroughly cleaned at another car wash that were left grimey here. I may have been lucky getting a dedicated worker at the other car wash, but he set the standard for me. The bank of my CR-V still had sand that was not vacuumed out, which did not happen at the other car wash. Overall though this place did an adequate job, just not among the best jobs Ive had.

They normally have a ton of people here so it takes longer for my car to get a car wash. However, what they lack in speed they make up in customer service. Theyve been very courteous and will always do whatever it takes to make you happy. They have, however, on occasion forgotten to add the scent to my car. This is in no way faulting the car wash, it was just the person finishing up your car. If this happens, just go back to someone and let them know.

I usually come here and wash my car, I pay 34.99 every time I come in, they usually do a good job, the only complaint is have is an Armenian woman in the register that is extremely rude , especially when you are a loyal client you dont expect to be treated like that bad service, I will no come here anymore. Disappointed. BTW if management care it was Saturdar October 22 at 320pm, loosing for customer for employees , hope management do something

I was very excited to try this place as it is super close to my home and every time I pass by it looks full. At first arriving the staff was friendly and ensured me that they would take care of my car. Honestly I think it was 20 minutes that passed and my car was ready. When I first saw it it looked nice on the outside, but inside it was like they did a half job!! As if they hadnt even vacuumed. Very disappointed, not going back!

You know, I usually hate getting my car washed and end up doing it myself, but my experience with Magnolia Car Wash & Detail Center was not too shabby. They actually did a decent job, as well as, didnt take an hour to do it. Their prices are bit higher than average, but I think it was worth the extra dollar or two. Ill definitely go back if I dont feel like being MCD myself.

Excellent neighborhood car wash offering full services whether machine or hand wash. Their hand wash service runs $20 making it the cheapest in the area. Their wash and dry is very thorough. Weekends are really busy. So if you dont want to spend a lot of time, its best to come before 9am. Opening time is 8am.
