I met the owner of Concours Autobody, Derek, some 26 years ago when he worked for another bodyshop in Los Gatos and I needed the peeling paint on my 1990 Ford Bronco II repaired. While the owner of the existing shop proposed a superficial fix, Derek chose to sand the roof and hood down to bare metal, prime, paint, gloss coat to original specs. and even buff out the remaining body at a price that was below the other competitors I had visited. Some 26 years later I still have people asking me how Ive kept the vehicle looking so new....I chuckle as it had nothing to do with me but the incredible job Derek did many years ago. So through the years he has repaired our other vehicles including just recently my wifes S2000 Honda sports car that was involved in a fender bender....and the work is still of the highest quality. In fact, Ive grown to trust Dereks dedication and honesty in doing our vehicles bodywork that Ive recommended him to my closest acquaintances including a retired dentist and the repainting of his classic Porsche!...In closing, I cant recommend Dereks work highly enough...hes one of the few truly honest, caring hands-on business owners still out there.
