I took my car in for a front brakes service when they opened at 8am, they told me they would call me to give me an estimate. I waited 2 hours and finally called them! They gave me a call a little before 12 ( almost 4 hours later) telling me that the cost was 800+ dollars to get my breaks done and both front and back brakes need repair. Stuned I told them to only do front brakes and rotors a cost of $315. I believe that was still pricy but I just wanted to get it done. I had asked RyNck for and estimate on how much it would cost to do work on the back brakes, they estimated $600. I had done my back brakes at Honda a year ago, yet RyNck was telling me I needed to get it done. I decided to take my car back to Honda and asked them the check the back. Honda showed me that there was very little ware on the pads and that the rotors were intacked. RyNck thought that they could make some extra money off of me. Good thing I decided to get a second look. Honda charged me nothing to do a quick brake inspection. I will never use RyNck again and rather pay the dealership. (PS the brake repairs a year ago, on the back only cost me $215).

German (the general manager) was awesome. I just moved to the area and was not looking forward to trying to find a good mechanic. I stopped at the good year by bayfair in San leandro, and they werent very helpful. Then I came here, and it was great. German noticed our tires were delaminating, and replaced them with some decent used tires for no charge. He also had a 3 year (!) Warranty on alignment with unlimited adjustments. While slightly more expensive than I thought for alignment (but not unreasonable), when I found out about the warranty this is going to save me about $300 over the next three years (my car needs to be aligned every six months). He also honored the warranty on my brakes from another good year. He even said that if we have any problems, he will replace any of it free of charge (even the drums). He did other stuff for us too on that visit, and my car was done by the time I got back from work. He was reasonable everywhere. Overall, I was super impressed.

Just moved to the area and my tire kept going flat. I called Certified Tires and the manager answered the phone. His name is German Navarro and he is very nice and personable. Because I was new to the area he offered to fix my tire for free even though there was only 20 minutes left till closing. While I waited we chatted about things to do around the area and he even showed me some great products to help keep my tires from going low all the time. I really like to have places I consistently go to for various things and this will definitely be my new tire store. I plan on getting my brakes fixed here as well. The crew there were fast and friendly as well. Thanks German.

went for an oil change in the morning, told me it would be 4 hours at least. went back after lunch, was told the work hadnt started, it might be end of the day. I complained, was only told can take the biz elsewhere, which was exactly what I did. one of my worst experience

Issue under warranty. Rear breaks and rotors replaced bt them twice in 2 years. Before them breaks lasted 10 years. Using bad aftermarket parts. No appointment option, be ready to leave the car in for whole day with only ETA is close of business for the day.

Good folks, good services. Tires are pretty expensive, though, so if you can help it, order it from a place like Tire Rack and get it installed at a preferred installer.

I used them in years ago and they were great. I mostly want to thank them for letting the food trucks use their parking lot!! Great sense of community spirit.
