Hank is legit. He doesnt mess around; all business, no nonsense, fair and ethical team. You cant go wrong here. Ive been taking my Prius here for the past year, as Ive had it with Toyota Sunnyvale and my car is now off warranty. The last straw for me was a service in which they didnt even reset my service oil maintenance required light. Wtf? Hank will actually change your oil when you ask for it... I cant say the same for the dealership, not with the same confidence level. Thank you Hank and Ha for your hard work and dedication to what you do. PS we take my wifes Accord here too, everything from major service to oil change, they will do it. Fair prices (always significantly less than the price gouging dealership) and ethical team.

Going into this transaction I had low hopes for my 2003 Oldsmobile Alero that had already gotten turned down by another local mechanic due to rusted parts making it a risky and complicated job. Not only did Hanks take my project on, but they were able to give an honest estimate, fix it within one afternoon, and turn it back to me with a bonus needed oil change. I was extra pleased that they also detailed to me what problems that might delay the fix due to rusted parts that could have potentially broken while fixing (but their mastery must have avoided this hence the quick turnaround). I have recently moved, and this will be my go to garage from now on.

Hank has always provided honest opnion on what needs to be take care with a car; he has never charged an arm and a leg even for labor intensive jobs. I have been going to hank for more than a decade now. I was referred to Hank by my friend when I lived in San Francisco. I have been going to him ever since; I have used his services even after I moved to Concord, Brentwood and now Walnut Creek; never mind to drive the extra miles to get a good service. Highly recommend him!!!

Hank does a wonderful job fixing cars. I took my 2001 Subaru Outback in for boot replacement. If I had gone to a dealer it would of cost me $800+!! He fixed them under $250!! I need new shocks and struts, so Im taking my Subie in again. Im taking my car into his shop from now on, because my Subie needs to last me for another 2,3 years!! I highly recommend going to him, if your car is well over manufacture warranty/service package.

If you are looking for value for the money, this is the place. Consistently good work, and very reasonable pricing. The first time I went, Hank thought he knew what the problem was and had a spare part handy from his own car. Within 10 minutes he had used the part to confirm his diagnosis. No charge for finding the problem - just had me come back the next day for the repair, which was much cheaper than I thought it would be.

Ive had services done here for my Toyota Camry and an old Mercedes E320 and have been very pleased with their work. On a recent job for valve cover gaskets on the Mercedes, their original quote was lower than other shops, but then they said that a couple hoses normally replaced for the job looked fine, so the final price ended up even lower by over a hundred. Honest and competent shop. Highly recommend.

Ive been using Hanks Auto for about 7 years to date. Hank has worked on my Chevy Astro van, Voltswagon Beetle and Vw Passat. He recently installed steel locks on my brand new Dodge Ram van, now I feel more secure :) Each and every time his rates have been fair and performed on time. hes an honest hard working guy and I recommend his service. I know of atleast 5 friends whom I have referred to Hank. Hank came out to be a champ in quality of work, time, very very honest opinion and best of all at a very reasonable cost. My 230k mile acura is still going to hank for anything that comes up. I would give Hank a five star rating and if every mechanic shop is this way, life would be so easy for people.

Ive been takening my Mustang to Hanks for over a decade and his service is excellent. He is always available when it is convenient for me, does the work quickly and Ive never had to come back after taking it there. My husbands Mazda is no longer covered by the dealer and guess where he will be taking it now... Hanks! Im sure he will be as happy as Ive been.

Best mechanic I have ever dealt with. Ive taken my old Jeep in for Hank and his team to check out multiple times and hes always been honest and given me a fast turn around. I left my car with him for 4 days once, he wasnt able to replicate the problem, and he didnt even charge me for his time! Super flexible, knowledgable, honest, and reliable.

Hank is an amazingly honest mechanic and has never overcharged me for anything. I take my car to him whenever I need anything. He has a fast turnaround and quality workmanship. Ive never had a problem with any work hes done. Im shocked when I see his bill because its so much lower than I would expect. I highly recommend him.

Quoted me $450 to get my struts changed, then sent me to the Valero down the street to get it done. Valero changed the price to $650 when I got there. If you refer me somewhere who raises the price and doesnt bother to tell me until were about to leave that the price has gone up, then youre not trustworthy.
