Coast Auto Center, Inc. THIS BUSINESS DOESNT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR!!! BUT IN ORDER TO PLACE THIS REVIEW ONLINE I HAD TO GIVE 1 STAR. This business is terrible!!! My senior citizen father bought a car from this facility and first time he took it out of town to get his grandson for the summer my father car broke down. He didnt even put 500 miles on the car. He called DUKE at the facility for help because he was stranded in ukia DUKE told him sorry nothing that he can do to help him. That is so sad to treat a senior citizen this way, My father was 300 miles from home with no extra money to get home nor to get his car towed home. That is heart breaking to know that the business is not there for their customers. By the time my father got the money to get the car towed home his car got impounded then by the time the tow yard contacted my father the Bill was so high that there was no way that he could come up with the money for that. My father had no idea that his car would be towed away because where it broke down was at agas station and the gas station owner said it was on to leave the car there. The moral of the story is THAT MY FATHER IS A SENIOR CITIZEN AND THIS COMPANY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF HIM ,OVER CHARGING HIM FOR A LEMON CAR , WOULD NOT HELP MY FATHER WHEN HE WAS STRANDED AND HAD TO SLEEP IN HIS CAR OVER NIGHT ALL ALONE. MY FATHER HEALTH IS NOT THAT GOOD TO BEGIN WITH. MY FATHER CALLED BEGGING FOR HELP FROM DUKE AND WHEN MY FATHER NEEDED HIM ALL HE COULD SAY SORRY CANT HELP U AND MY FATHER CALLED HIM AGAIN AND THEY TOLD MY FATHER THAT HE WAS OUT OF TOWN. THAT IS SO BAD OF SERVICE. THEY SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST OFFER TO TOW HIS CAR. SO IF YOUR MOTHER OR FATHER IS SENOR CITIZEN PLEASE THINK TWICE ABOUT LETTING THEM BUY FROM THIS PLACE. IM TURNING THEM INTO BBB I DO NOT WANT THIS TO HAPPEN TO SOMEONE ELSE. MY FATHER IS STILL PAYING ON A CAR THAT HE NO LONGER HAS due to still owing $ on it. BECAUSE THIS COMPANY WOULDNT HELP HIM. PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE BUYING HERE.

They sold me a truck that had a lot of problems I discovered after a month. When I bought it I was told that it was a great truck and that it was inspected. I took it back for them to fix it and I was promised that they would fix it free of charge. Not only did they not fix the problems I told them it had, I was told by a different employee that he would not fix my truck. He told me that I had cause those problems. That the scratches it had and the water it had in the cab were caused by me offroading. He straight out told me the he wasnt going to spend money on my truck. And they were going to charge me for a diagnosis but I told them that I was told I wasnt going to be charged so they dropped it. I will never do business with them again.

I made a appointment to have my car smog, they took down my information and there smog guy quit on them. I never got a call in time to make another appointment else were, the day before I called to confirm, and get there location just to have them let me know what happened. I had to find another location asap! this is not how you do business, Now I have to drive my car to Robertsons a week later with expired tags because they cant fit me in sooner due to last minute booking. I will never due business with them again. This is poor customer service.

I went in for a smog check. They tacked on an unnecessary paper copy of the report and charged an extra $8.00. DMV does not require a paper report. How many unnecessary paper smog certificates have you sold to unsuspecting customers Coast Auto? It is time to stop. It is all sent by the computer to DMV anyway, but how is a customer to know? The smog tech knew. One star for you, Coast Auto for not being up front with this smog issue.

The owner has requested I know longer charge my electric vehicle here. This is a public charger. With no prior warning he almost left me stranded. He reluctantly let me charge after making his sales pitch about how I needed to by a fossil fuel car. Id be curious what his policy on public charging is? Correct me if Im wrong but I believe businesses in California receive a tax break for providing a public charger?

Wouldnt sale me a car even though Ive paid 3 off already a friend bought a car its a lemon so maybe thats why my Father denied me one from them..If you wont give me a chance dont tell me not to go somewhere else for if another car dealership will take my money and trust me then I will go to them for Ive never missed a car payment so your loss not mine
