I needed to have a Kwikset smart key lock reset, so I called to ask how it is done, and if he can do it. He said he can do it with a "mystery tool" if I pay him to come out for 180$; and that at that price range, I might be better off just buying new locks. When I asked him what tool he will use, he said that it is not his job to explain things to me. Well, a 5 min Google search shows that the "mystery tool" is a reset cradle, a consumer product available for 30$ from Amazon. I understand that he needs to stay in business, but doing things like this is shady and dishonest. I dont like mechanics and craftsmen that make a living by taking advantage of peoples ignorance. Answer questions honestly, its good business.

After getting here 45 minutes late the serviceman look at my door lock I said he couldnt do it did not give a reason and left leaving me stuck with being unable to lock my home and now this stranger knows that I cannot secure myself. Rather than telling why he was unable to key my door lock or refer me to somebody that was able to do the job , he sped off with the same angry attitude he had when he came. Now not only am I unable to secure myself and my belongings this stranger is also aware of my vulnerability very bad unprofessional unsafe business practice this is my first time ever reviewing a place I usually dont complain but now I feel unsafe due to the lack of concern this business has given
