Worst customer service. The owner is rude. In no way did I challenge the shops knowledge of what was wrong with my car. But the way they spoke to me made me scratch my head to their lack of professionalism. Out of the better judgement I called again months later to get work done. As I dont think they remembered me on the phone the owner once again was rude. Instead of saying we dont do this type of work or we are not capable of doing it I get "Ill pass". I asked "youll pass" and the guy comes back and repeats what he said. I recommend you find a professional shop that actually cares about their brand and reputation.

I was referred to Don and Tri Valley Automotive by a friend of mine who has been going to him for years. I took both my vehicles to him for service a Dodge Durango and a Chrysler 300. What was great about Don is that he explained exactly what was going on with the car and also why you would need/want to get certain repairs done now or later. I can honestly say that I will never go to another mechanic now that I have found Tri Valley Automotive. Don and his guy Ted are very cool and will give it to you straight. I highly recommend them.

I brought my Saturn in because my car started to smoke and the coolant warning light went on. I came in off the street unexpected. Don hooked it up to the computer right away and told me what I would need done. They started to work on my car right away and I was able to pick it up the next day which was great since I use my car all day long for the type of work I do. I would highly recommend Tri-Valley Automotive. The people were all very nice and helpful and the price was what I had thought it would be.

I have been a long-time customer of Tri-Valley Clutch. In fact, I used to go to Don when he was at a different location. Imagine my disappointment when I learned that Don will not honor his warranty for work he previously performed on my vehicle. His reason for failing to honor his warranty: He changed computer programs and no longer has access to his old files. WHAT??? I guess thats one way to weasel out of honoring a warranty! Not the conduct of an honorable, upstanding business. BUYER BEWARE.

Don takes a personal interest in my car, has competitive prices, and gives me good advice. Although he is not open weekends, which makes it difficult sometimes, he does work around the hours I can make to make it more convenient. I had an issue that required a different approach I found on line, and was willing to try it, which fixed that issue for hundreds less than the dealership quoted.

I called Don to consult, then ordered OEM parts (trailer hitch with wiring kit), then called again to set a time, then came in and had it installed, at a reasonable price. I wish all shops are as professional and straightforward as Tri-Valley Automotive - of course that is impossible, and that is why Tri-Valley Automotive should be so highly appreciated. Thank you!!!

I brought my Honda Pilot in with a blinking "check transmission" light. Don hooked the car up to the magic computer and came up with a recommended repair. Part was in within a day and the Pilot is back on the road. Don was great, repair was completed on time, as expected, for the expected price. Will definitely continue to use Tri-Valley Automotive.

Brought my car in for the first time after reading reviews on Yelp and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Sat down and talked to the owner and he went over things that needed to be done to my car eventually but not right away. Was in and out in about 30 minutes. Definitely will be back.
