I left the shop crying from how they treated me. I made an appointment to get my hair relaxed and styled. To save money my mom decided to relax my hair just so I can get it cut. Once I got into the store a lady sat me down and began to ask what happen to my hair. I told her what my mom did and she started to go off how she should never touch my hair. Its horrible. I cant do anything with it. So I asked if she can at least cut and style it. With an attitude shes said "I guess" and started cutting my hair into the style I didnt want while still complaining. My young self didnt say much because I was to overwhelmed about all these because it was my first salon experience. After the cutting she said she cant curl my hair because the smoke will hurt her lungs and she has kids. I look over and she this other girl getting her hair hot combed and ton so smoke is coming out. The whole room already smells like smoke. I said okay, trying my hardest not to cry in a room full of women judging me and I just get up and pay. I paid 45$ for a haircut I didnt want because it was to short and a curling I didnt get. Ever since then Ive never been back to the shop. If they would of been more excepting and didnt had an attitude I wouldnt of left a bad review.

My appt was at 4 and I left or was finished by 8. Miscommunication between stylist/owner and assistant which resulted in double work. The cut I wanted was not what I got. After getting home to better lighting, I noticed an uneven patch because she used male clippers rather than scissors. Very dissatisfied and with all that was charged full price. Needless to say I will not be returning. Let me not forget the owner having allergy and breathing issues with trouble breathing all on folks. I suggested some over the counter meds and she just laughed it off. The good part was the salon was very clean and other stylists were friendly. Kudos to them! Seems like they specialize in weaves more than cutting short hair styles.

Oh my!!! My experience was absolutely WONDERFUL. I just moved to Cali from Georgia and had the hardest time finding a stylist that could treat my hair. I arrived 30 min early for my appt. due to I didnt want to get lost or stuck in traffic and end up being late for my appt. I was greeted upon entering the salon and had no wait time..services begin on me immediately after greeting. I have a very sensitive scalp and not one time did I flinch or hunch my shoulders from pain of pulling and combing of my hair. The assistant who shampooed my hair was on point and Sharri was super. I was in and out in 1hr 30 mins. Im so happy that I found my new hair salon.

I have to give a big shout out to the team at DreamGirls Salon. Not only was my stylist Sharie Wilson absolutely amazing, my hair was slayed the atmosphere was great, and they provided so much hair care knowledge to ensure productive hair growth. Every question I had was answered and most importantly my hair was done exactly how I requested. Honestly I walked out of the shop feeling unstoppable and would highly recommend this shop for everyone. Full sew-in with closure.
