GREAT SERVICE!!!! I worked closely with Peter at Encinitas Automotive Repair. He first helped me determine what kind of vehicle would be good to purchase with a higher mileage based on reliability. He was so kind and spoke to me for at least 20 mins. We ended buying a Ford Expedition that had a mechanical issue. When I brought Peter the vehicle to check out, he found that the engine needed new coils and did not charge us for the inspection. They got the coils replaced in less than a day and the charge was LESSS than the estimate. AMAZING! Our Ford Expedition runs perfectly now and I feel like Peter is the most fair and honest repair shop owner I have ever worked with. My mom has also been going to him for awhile as well as a few neighbors and coworkers. They all say Encinitas Automotive Repair is the best place they have been!

Spoke with Alex and he gave me a detailed report on what was wrong (in this case with my AC unit), and completed the work expediently and with a final price significantly lower than average. The work was perfect, no issues whatsoever. Both my parents and my wife now go there for their automotive needs. I couldnt recommend Encinitas Automotive Repair highly enough.

I called today to ask about availability to do an oil change and trouble shoot two additional issues and was told they had time and to bring it in. As soon as I arrived, with my wife following as I was intending to drop the car off, I was told they had no time and to come back Thursday. If they cant communicate properly, how can they do right by your car. I left.

They will tell you what honestly needs to be done and what is not necessary. They guarantee their work and take the time to make sure you get the results you need.

Swamis owner Frank gives you an honest appraisal, looks at the value of the repair verses the car. Thats especially important when the older car may not be worth the entire repair. Its nice that they work with you in determining the appropriateness of the repairs and get you to a point where repairs fit your budget, Highly recommended.
