All I wanted to do was cancel my gym membership, I went online and it said I had to call an 800 number to cancel my membership. After calling the 800 number on a Saturday and having it tell me they are closed on the weekend I call back on Monday only to have it refuse to send my call through. So I called this location and they claimed I had to come in and speak with a manager to cancel my membership. So I went in and asked to cancel my membership, the lady at the desk asked my name then proceded to to call someone on the phone ( I presume to call the manager out to the front desk) afterwards she tells me I have to fill out a questionare. Now I have been jerked around by the website, a phone service twice and now this woman is tying to make me fill out paperwork just to cancel a membership (which any other business would have just let me do online) I was at this point getting angry and when I demanded that she just cancel my membership she says to me " Sir this is your second warning if you dont calm down I will have to call security." Lets skip the fact that she never issued a first warning and that she is saying this with a lot of attitude, so I responded to her by telling her to get the manager afterwhich she gets back on the phone and after hanging up procedes to cancel my membership. Then I went home and upon chencking my email learn that she had only canceled half of my membership. This place deserves a 0 and that lady deserves to be fired for incompetence.

I like how clean it is, and it is a nice facility, however trying to discontinue the membership of the gym is terrible, and they dont make you feel like they are going to do anything about your problems. I had a membership with them once before. I discontinued that membership but was told i wouldnt be charged that month since it was right before the new month period. However I was still charged because the transaction of my discontinued membership did pend through the system they have until a day after the new month. Then in my convenience of driving, i joined another 24 hour fitness 6 months later. It was a 12 month membership. 7 months in I Tried to discontinue that one as well. I asked about the 12 month membership, but the employee behind the desk insured me that i was all set to go, and that the membership would in 30 days from that day. Well that was not the case. I was charged full amount 1 month later. When i tried to resolve the issue, whether i had to pay the rest of the months off or not, I then wanted to have my complaint of not being informed that would happen would be acknowledged, then membership manager, didnt leave me the impression that the employee that did not properly inform me would have any kind of talking to or resolve of future issues.

This particular gym is not for the “wanna-bees”. This gym is for the serious, mature health conscious participant, young and old or anywhere in between. I really appreciate the professionalism of the instructors and the staff as well as, the seriousness of which they place on my work-out and continuous growth. This Gym is not a place to chit-chat nor, prance, you won’t find the Peacocks here, so come as you are and get ready to get real! This GYM is for hard workouts, discipline and lifelong good health. The staff are top-shelf, the various trainers, amazing all on their A-game. Working out from 18-108 years old, they have a program for you, offering personal guidance for those who have been out of the game too long. Come on back at our Gateway Solano 24 Hour fitness Group X and have an amazingly good time getting back to the zone.

Would not recommend, especially if you have kids that you take with you. Even though some of the staff is very friendly it does not compensate for the gym being over crowded and the kids club only being allowed to take a certain number of kids while being understaffed. We signed up two weeks ago and I have already been turned away twice in one day as they do not have the staff to cover the kids club. This wouldnt have been a problem if I had nothing to do aside from the gym but as I have other obligations on a daily basis I cant work at a gym that asks me to work around their schedule. Asked for a refund as we have only been a member for 9 days and they refused. This gym is not worth the headache and effort they ask for.

Good sized facility with allot of equipment. Unfortunately, this is one of the worse maintained 24 hour fitness facilities that I have visited. When broken, equipment stays broken for long periods of time. When repaired, equipment is not always repaired correctly. For instance, many of the weight stacks stick while moving up and down providing a very uneven movement and have been this way for a couple of years even after they have been "fixed". Bent barbells will not be replaced for months at a time. I have visited older 24 hour fitness facilities with older equipment that were better maintained than this one.

I hate this gym but unfortunately its the only one within a good amount of distance from my home. Its always packed due to limited equipment and way too many people that it must serve. The staffing is minimal during peak hours and the equipment is ALWAYS everywhere except where its suppose to be during peak hours. The only good time to work out is really early in the morning or really late at night. I am not satisfied with this gym at all. If it wasnt for my good plan with 24 I would go elsewhere to another gym which is not crowded. Good luck trying to get a good workout here.

I have no complaints. I cant speak to the 2md floor weight machines. Still, I have never had difficulty getting an elliptical or stationary bike. I have gone there for a couple of years and there was only once that there were multiple machines out of service. It was end of year and seemed more like yearly maintenance time had arrived. The pool is always well maintained and on the few times it has been in demand, someone is always happy to share a lane.

5 stars on cleanliness, staff, trainers, class instructors and well maintained equipment. Ive been going to this gym for almost 3 years now, and it has always been pleasant. The GroupX instructors are very energetic and motivating. Body Pump and Cycle are my favorite classes. Just dont get tempted of going to 5 Guys Burgers and Coldstone right after your workout. Oh, and Dickies, and Pieology and Quicklys are also just a block away. ;D

The gym itself isnt bad. Not the greatest but not the worst. What got me is when signing up I was told I get tanning with my package, just that this particular site didnt have tanning. Cool, no problem, he said we could hit up another facility for that. Too bad Im in California and the only 24 Hour Fitness with tanning is in New York..... Enough said. Good gym, shady people.
