I live near by and usually drop things off for my mother on my way to work and have never had a problem with their cleaning service. I really never leave reviews for anything, but I wanted people to be aware that this place is HORRIBLE at hemming services. I took a $250 Free People brand maxi dress in for some hemming. I can agree, they are very friendly there, but when it came to getting this dress hemmed, which has never been an issue in the past for friends and family, they really ripped me off big time. First of all, NEVER leave the price tags on your clothes which was a big mistake for me. What should have been a service of $30 or less, the seamstress charged me $50+ and then argued with me when I told her what length I wanted the dress (Im pretty short and NEVER where heals) she gave me an attitude because I wanted a little drag to it. (she wanted it to be two inches above my ankles in her opinion). Sorry, thats defeats the purpose of a "Maxi" dress. Anyway, Im nagging. Long story short, she cut and hemmed the dress drastically crooked. So much so that when I put it on all four of my sister gasped and I quickly realized I could not even wear the dress. a $250 gift for a huge weight loss accomplishment and she totally destroyed the dress. I didnt even bother going back to even let the owner know about this dilemma with the seamstress he has working for him. I will NEVER go back and will never bring any of my families clothes to be laundered at Green Valley Cleaners. Id like to note: I do not bash this place of business, but when people ask my opinion of if they are a good dry cleaners to go to, I just tell me story and let them decide for themselves. Very unfortunate.
