This place is okay, just okay though. This place doesnt compare to an Equinox or even a much cheaper gym like 24 Hour Fitness because theres way too much going on. Is it a gym? Is it a cafe? Is it a low quality beauty salon? Is it a daycare? I live in Palo Alto but I was in the area and got a day pass with some friends. Ive never seen so many people just sitting around and texting on their smart phones and tablets. It was pitiful to be honest. Im not a power lifter or gym fanatic, but I do know the basics and this place is lacking in even the basics, as far as power equipment goes. It looks like a nicely decorated cardio gym because they only have a huge amount of cardio machines. And excuse me, I was told that overuse of treadmills isnt very good for you and your body. For all the extra money youll all be drained off, the membership of $149 is way too much. And if youre going to charge that much, why do you have such low quality cheap shampoo, body wash, conditioner and lotion in your locker room? That stuff is sold at Target in the budget section!

Very nice "Health Club" but a terrible gym. Missing a ton of equipment variations (Referring to types of benches, plate-loaded machines, barbells, etc.) at the expense of to many redundant machines and cardio equipment overload. I have been to regular old smaller gyms like a 24-hour fitness active or sport that had more equipment and heavier dumbbells. Definitely cannot complain about the health club part though. Super clean and the amenities are great if you want to go there and get a casual workout in and then hangout. There should never be a cafe or salon in a gym in my opinion. But, if you are looking to "Train" and step away from what a regular person thinks a workout is....well then this is definitely not the place.

Good gym, lots of new equipment. They are adding equipment regularly too. The comments regarding lack of equipment are over blown. If you cant find the right stuff to use at this place, then you have issues. I spoke to a trainer/mngr and was told they will adjust to our needs. The place can get busy depending when you workout. I go every day after noon and its very quiet, love it! Weekends are busier, not sure about evenings, but I imagine its swamped. Folsom people tend to go overboard with new establishments, they will fade away after a while. You wont be disappointed!

Came in here to find information about the gym and membership. Facility looks nice. However when asking for membership info the staff member - Jasmine assigned to us had absolutely no idea about the programs and the pricing estimates about the different programs. She was unprofessional, uninterested and had no idea whats happening in the gym. Such a put off. If this is the treatment given to new potential members then goodbye. I will stay with my current gym.

Just came for membership info. Floor manager assigned Jasmine - a very rude, uncourteous, condescending, uninformed trainee. In a stuffy, 8x8 closet, no seat provided, instead of info, we got "tell me what you know about lifetime", "this is not my office, I dont have any details, you can go to each sports areas and get info yourself"! Floor manager - "youre doing great" ???? I would fire them both instantly! Such employees are bad for business.

Bad experience.Beware of their marketing stints. They hide the joining fee($169)they just tell you the monthly charges. While joining, you will be told about joining fee, they take your credit card details and make to sign an agreement electronically. which you dont know what goes in.Even the staff do not make you aware of it. * importantly if want to quit LT you have to give 30 days prior notice, else they charge for entire month.

Unlike any athletic club in the area! Hands down blows all competition and boutique fitness shops away. This facility is a one stop shop for all things fitness and relaxation. The pools are amazing, equipment is top notch and the staff are very professional. Very kid and family friendly. A membership and perks are comparable to a private tennis/pool club without the snobby stuffiness. No Buffys or Muffys here.

This place is amazing!!! One of the nicest gyms Ive ever seen. They have state of the art fitness equipment, an amazing pool, yoga studios, basketball courts, pools, tennis pro, tennis courts, a cafe, a full service spa, amazing customer service. Im so glad I became a charter member and sigmed up. I hope more of these pop up on the west coast. I live in Elk Grove and commute to the gym so worth the drive.

Love this new facility! Very spacious and the staff are amazing! Took my first warrior sculpt class with Kristin and it was definitely one of the most challenging workouts Ive ever done. She was passionate about what she was doing and you could tell she put in the time and effort to make her class amazing. Cant wait to take more classes in the future!

It feels like a country club without the golf course. The amenities for the price are top knotch. The personal training services are great as well. Patrick Keehan provides excellent personal training. His functional and corrective exercises to help me get back into shape after injury are exactly what I was looking for.

Just opening, and there are still kinks to work out. Kids crying in the kids area with staff standing around uselessly, an incomplete schedule, and crazed staff, but the facility is very nice and hopefully will be getting better.

Gym literally has everything. The weight machines here are endless and the freeweights are just as numerous. Literally feels like youre walking into a 5 star hotel.

Went as a guest, enough space to get a good workout in without competition for gym equipment. Lots of kids in the pool areas, but most areas are kid free.
