I would have chose 1/2 a star I started with this storage facility with one unit signed up by Kim. Kim and her husband Al were pretty cool and helpful and I was a good paying tenant for months. Then when I went to move and needed a larger storage they only had another smaller one so I took it. They told me that I got a free truck rental with it for a day. I took which had to be back by 6 pm. I get a call from Bill about an hour before its return time and told him I was unloading as fast as possible and may be a few minutes late could I drop keys off in the door slot. He began to yell at me and told me no I could not and that I must be back prior to them closing. I told him that I was moving as fast as possible and it wouldn’t be more than about 15 minutes. Bill told me that if I was not here he would call the police and report it stolen and that there would be a late fee as well. I couldn’t believe my ears! First off if I am being charged a $100 late fee which is over double what Uhaul would have even charged to rent the truck and secondly I had given them my credit card, moving from address and moving to address as well as had my Land Rover parked at their facility. He was the worst person I have ever dealt with anywhere. Since he told me that there was no way to drop off the keys in a door slot I brought the truck clean and full of gas and was there when they opened. I tried to discuss this with Chris when I got there but only to find out her mind was made up because she is Bill’s wife. I called Kim whom knew that I had been a good tenant to discuss and complain and although she was nice she told me that I should have dropped the keys through the door slot and that she was on the premises all night because she lives there. She also referred me to a corperate phone number without even a greeting message to discuss and or complain and they never called me back either. In addition for my complaint they placed a move out notice on both of my storages making me move out less than two weeks later from both units and kept my full money for the months in addition to charging me three time what Uhaul would have charged to rent the truck for 24 hours. This has been the worst experience ever. There is no customer service, their charges are unethical and as you read a previous review they kick you out if you place a bad review or mention it. So if you’re not happy here move out before you say you will put a review or you will be evicted too.

I had a storage unit at Foothill Ranch for several years, but in the last year the management has changed, the new management (Kim and Al) are rude and very unprofessional. FYI…Kim offers $25.00 off your rent to post a positive review, and will kick you out if you post a negative one. They tried to pay me to write a positive review, but when I posted a negative review, she said I had to remove the negative review, or move out. I chose to move out. My most recent storage unit was a 5x5, my rent increased from $42.00 to $72.00 two months after moving into it. When I complained they said too bad, and sent me another letter stating the price increase. I saw the same unit being offered online for $38.00, so I put a hold on it. An employee called me and said the 5x5 was no longer available, but she had a 4x5 for $32.00. I said great, Ill be there Friday. When I called on Friday, they said that employee no longer worked there. I told them I had a reservation for a 4x5 for $32.00. Kim would not honor my reservation; she said it was not valid because the employee no longer worked there. But, she would do me a big favor and give me a 5x5 for $58.00. I had made the same reservation at the Aliso Viejo location, and they honored my reservation for $38.00, so I moved my items to Aliso Viejo. Kim’s attitude was very unprofessional, and mean, so I posted a negative review about the Foothill Ranch location. Within 24 hours I was told by Kim Alton, the operations manager that I either had to remove my negative review about their Foothill Ranch location, or move out of the new unit in Aliso Viejo. I think it is important for customers to know the truth about the operations of STOR-IT

I am currently storing my belongings while looking for a house. Amy and the staff there have been very curtious and always willing to help find a solution to my storage needs. When the rent seemed too much, they worked with me to find another unit at a great price. It was a hassle to move my stuff one more time, but well worth the savings. I belive they have fair pricing. The facility is always clean. Only drawback may be the accesibility. No access on major holidays, late evenings, and shorter hours on Sunday. For the most part this has not been a problem, but you never know when you may need to get to that certain item! Hope this review helps. I would recommend this facility

When I go to Stor-It and see Jim and Tina, it feels like "going home" for a visit. It makes the chore of "going to storage", a rewarding experience. I have maintained business or personal records there over a number of years. Its easy to change sizes, take on additional storage, etc. I have the security of knowing that my personal items are secure and free of debris. They are a well run facility and a good company to deal with. I would recommend Stor It to anyone looking for storage needs.

I have been with Stor-It Self Storage Foothill Ranch since the mid 1990s and have always found them to be kind, considerate and professional. They are very easy to work with (especially when times are tough). I feel that my property is in safe hands. The facility is always clean and secure. I gave four out of five stars because of a few rate increases over the past couple of years. Otherwise, I am very happy.

I love Stor-It in Foothill Ranch! I feel so supported when I interact with the staff. From the first phone call where they were informative and I got a great deal. Now that I have been there many months, I appreciate their kindness and their committment to creating a clean and safe facility. You would be silly not to use Stor-It in Foothill for your storage needs.

Kim at the Foothill Ranch Store is not only very professional she is also very fun to work with; great personality and terrific knowledge of the facility. I came in cold and after we spoke for a couple of minutes and she took me directly to the exact unit I had described. Rates here are competitive and the service is excellent. Would recommend this place highly.

My ever-changing Family of 5 has used a few storage units at our Foothill Ranch Stor-It for years now...they are always very helpful to our needs of adding and emptying units as needed! I am thankful they are so close to us! Kim & Al are new to this location and I am glad they are here! I would strongly recommend this as a location to store your things!
