The price was average. The quality of the work was good, (only because I was there every day to check on it and I have years of construction experience) As far as them explaining how a roof works to someone that has no knowledge, Id have to say, good luck getting the whole story. They tried to sell me on ideas that just made absolutely no sense. It took a long time to get the work completed correctly and they kept trying to give me a less than adequate product. The problem started when they didnt do the tear-off the way I asked. (Pull the old staples instead of driving them in so that they dont come through the bottom side and create a hazard in the attic for anyone that enters in the future.) I spent hours picking up after them and they said, "We were going to send someone back to pick that up." I call b.s. They had a crew already there that couldve cleaned up in minutes. Thats just an excuse for not having done it. Infact, I heard that same excuse a couple times throughout the job. Then they threw away an important, hard to replace, custom roof sound baffle. Lots of problems were blamed on their language barrier with their employees. (Shouldnt be the customers problem) They finally fixed MOST of the issues and I paid them. I say most because sometimes you dont want the ones that cause the problem to be the one to try fixing the problem. The first attempt on replacing some fascia board was so wrong that I couldnt come up with a better response than, "You have got to be kidding me!" I still havent received the lien release, and its been about a month. No communication. Organization lacking. Didnt want to own up to their mistakes and tried diverting blame to anything and anyone else. Not a pleasant experience!

I had a leak on my roof which got worse each year. I finally contacted state center roofing, the original roof contractor for my house. They sent a subcontractor, which had no license, so I sent them away. I then contacted Hi Tech Roofing. They sent Cesar and Jesus. They troubleshoot the issue and fixed an issue. It then rained the next day which leaked into my home. I called them and that same afternoon they investigated the issue. The owner Guillermo even came to apologize and explained that there were two seperate issues. They found a defect in the original roof configuration and fixed the issue. I highly recommend this roofing company. Knowing nothing about roofing they explain how the whole roofing system worked and recommended periodic maintenance. Having started out the process on bad ground I felt that they worked with me to resolve my roofing issue.
