Outstanding experience all around. Great pricing. All equipment was actually made in American....not the "American Style", "an American Company" or Chinese pieces and parts that are "Assembled in America" garbage that I got from several commissioned sales guy. I checked PD our thoroughly and they actually provided products that were both manufactured and assembled in the USA. Good communication. One small glitch, but they apologize and didnt make the sames mistake a second time. They gave me accurate expectations as to how the process would go, and they beat their estimated timeline on each step. Clean cut, professional installer that communicated the process well regarding what would happen and made sure I was OK with their building plans on the day of install....I had OKed plans electronically a few week before, so no surprises or on-the-spot decisions needed. They did all the utility paperwork and called me the day SCE granted permission to turn it on....then walked me through what to do. System has been on for 1 year and 8 months now. Has met or exceeded the original production estimates that were given to me in the proposal. My $500 average bill has been reduced to $150/mo. If I decide I want to put panels on the front of my house I can get the bill to zero, but dont want to see them. The sales rep took my wishes to heart and only designed a system on my East and West roof because of my aesthetic concerns. Couldnt be happier!

BEWARE! If you are going to use this company for roofing. Because you will get nothing but the run around. First, you call a call center in which the person you talk to knows nothing about roofing. They call you back fast to set an appointment. We meet with them (hour late), has wrong paper work for our roof. Says hell call us in a couple of days after measurements. Never hear from them (over a week later). We call them and get the, "no one has called you?". Wait another week and hear nothing. So we call again and get the "I was just going to call you". Then, "oh sorry but we dont do that kind of roof". Wait, WHAT???? We call them to let them know, a manager calls us back saying sorry the ball was dropped somewhere. Then says: "we do that style of roofing" but sub it out, heres the company we use, just call them directly. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!!!!!!

My experience is NO experience. I contacted Petersen-Dean on 3/13/2014, 3/24/2014 and 4/9/2014 by email, trying to get a quote for a ground mount PV system for my house. They do not respond to my emails. I was told someone would call me within 48 hours, but no one has called. Perhaps you need to spend more time on customer service and less time doing television ads to attract more people that you obviously cannot serve. I will call someone else now. I prefer to give no stars, but that is not an option.

The installation crew was prompt and the install went according to plan and was delivered on time and schedule.
