I was looking to hire a company for regular weekly cleaning of my house so I contacted Molly Maid via the website. After I put in my online request a representative contacted me and we set up a consultation date for a Tuesday, two weeks later. As I work as a teacher I am unavailable until after 3 PM, the lady was willing to work with me and we set the appointment for 3:30. I rearranged my entire schedule for the date decided. But when the date arrived no one from Molly Maid came for my consultation. I called the local company and the representative told me I was not on the schedule for today and that they had no record of me or my phone conversation from two weeks previous. All they had from me was the request from the website. Despite this lack of communication and planning on their part, I was still willing to use the company so I explained my situation to the representative on the phone in the hopes that she would work with me to arrange another consultation. However, she said that they would not do any consultations after 2 PM and when I attempted to give her one of my Saturdays, she said they would not work on any other day besides Monday through Friday. At this point it was clear to me that Molly Maid was not interested in my business. The representative was unsympathetic that I rearranged my whole work schedule to accommodate her schedule once and she was unwilling to work with me any further. I told her I would have to look into a different company for my cleaning needs. I would encourage anyone wanting personal, attentive and caring service from a cleaning company, do NOT use Molly Maid.
