Fired this housekeeping service after we had an almost impossible-to-remove foot long black mark left after a Merry Maids cleaning in the middle of our white tile kitchen counter: only after their handyman came out twice was it able to be removed, and then only with great difficulty. The we found that the cookbooks we had nicely arranged on the back of the counter had been destroyed: apparently the cleaning service must have dumped a huge amount of water onto the counter, which then got soaked up into the cookbooks and ruined them (we found the books still damp, but the pages were stuck together and impossible to fix). Try anyone else but Merry Maids!!!!!!!!

Merry Maids had committed to doing a first-time, special cleaning. Either management did not convey the agreed upon details, or the actual cleaners did not follow the instructions. The cleaning was basic, and omitted most of the mutually agreed to special requirements. I will not be using Merry Maids in the future.
