I absolutely love this place. The guy up front that looks like a swagasaurus? He is the most nicest person ever. He has helped me with discounts, coupons, keeping my car for a few days and giving me the number for enterprise. Every time I come in, they are not busy and I am always welcomed with a smile. They did my alignment for free but it is still off. No worries. I plan on bringing it back in soon so I can get my break pads changed. He has given me paper work that shows what has been done to my car and what needs to be done. Which is nice and very helpful. This way I can show my dad and actually tell him because I am unable to remember it all. I have hear and read alot of negativity on this place, but so far, nothing but generosity, laughs, and smiles. I feel bad for taking so long to write this review. I honestly had no idea what to say. Helpfully this helps anyone that is looking for a place to take their car into. They are really understandable. They also tell you whats wrong with your car and let you know before just fixing it and charging you for it.

Wish there was an option for zero stars. $17 for a Groupon, had to wait over two hours for an oil change. They upcharged me $5 for "Premium" service, $19 because they said it took a "special" oil filter (which isnt true, Ive owned this car for five years and changed the oil myself before), and an extra $6 for an extra half quart of oil. My $17 plus $32.60 made this a two hour $50 oil change. Then they said I need a new cabin air filter and wanted $39.95 for the filter and $50 for installation...$89.95????? I replace the cabin air filter myself last time. Paid $6.95 for the filter and installed it in about three minutes.It snaps in right inside the glove box.

The worst auto care I have ever seen. I got check engine light on and odbII showed p0128. I went to the store and told them what I got. They confirmed the diagnosis. I was told total cost to replace thermalstat would be around $735. I was shocked and asked why so expensive cause I had done some research before I went to the store. They told me the part cost is $320 because the sensor and thermalsat of my ford focus are assembled together, labor cost is 2 hours. I didnt believe what they said. So I went to local ford dealer and surprisingly I had my car done for only $270 (The part only cost me $72).

Hated the way manager behave Worst Service & More over Worst MANAGER, regularly i use to go here for oil change to my cars. usually i buy a groupon for 3 or 5 cars and use that coupon on 2 Cars same time The manager is NEW or DONT know what he want to do with business. he asked me to buy 2 groupons for different cars when i asked him show me where its written in rules & conditions he replied its my own rule. F*** your attitude man. i went Meineke Car Care same time he did Oil change for $20 and with excellent customer service and they didnt recommended any unnecessary things to change too.

$122 for a basic synthetic oil change. The manager showed me the quote after the tech was done, and I was shocked. All I needed was a basic oil change, I plan to trade my Toyota Pruis in soon... No I didnt need to hear that the battery "might be bad, they are expensive $6000 and up". It was just checked by the dealer and was in great condition. And yes Ive owned the car for many years "synthetic oil changes cost more" is not a reasonable excuse. Ive been to two other nearby dealerships and a simple synthetic oil chane was between $60 and $85.

My first experience here 4 years ago was TERRIBLE!! Not because of the management but because rude workers. Found a coupon online so decided to give it another go, they were professional and very on point. I walked in knowing the things that had to be done to my car and when they did the oil change and inspection they came back telling me just what I knew was wrong. So I guess you can say this shop is very trustworthy and wont try and cheat you into getting things fixed that you dont actually need:). Will definitely be coming back

I do like going to Precision because the staff members are friendly and have always taken care of me. However, the Gilroy store is currently short staff. If you , have a valid coupon you are not able to use it during the weekend because the staff members do not know how to validate coupons. During the week, I came in to validate my coupon. Then I was told that only the manager can do validations. On the 3rd attempt, I was able to reach a manager directly. He offered an additional discount if were to bring in another coupon.

These guys are always so polite and go beyond my expectations. So professional and offer suggestions as to what they say should be done. When the problem I had with a vehicle a few years ago turned out to be something else, they fixed the real problem and didnt charge me for what they had done. Never pushy and when things need to be done ASAP; they get it done. When my son moved out of state, his buddys truck broke down. They had the parts and repairs done the next day. Even though it was a 1985 vehicle. Thanks guys

I have been going to Precision Auto for a while and I had never had any problems with them until now. I took my car for a premium change of oil and the mechanic put too much oil in my car. I had to take it to another mechanic to fix the problem. He told me if I had driven the car with that much oil, that I would have damage my car. I do not trust them with my car anymore and I will not go back with them.

Even One star is too much for them. Pathetic service from the guy at front desk, highly unprofessional (this morning 8:30 am). My wife asked him for a oil change and he asked 70$+ taxes for the oil change and told me that he will not do 5 W-20 for Toyota corolla 2010 model. We always do that from Precision. Dont go there, go somewhere else, even if you have to pay more, atleast your mood will be good.

Bait and switch. Get you in with a good price and start adding on more which is ok if it is reasonable. Paid 40.00 for oil change labor I provided the oil and filter. It started out with a 17.00 coupon from Groupon. They would not except the Groupon for just labor. He said the Groupon was a package deal.. sorry!

I called ahead to get an oil change and got an ok to come in for the same day service. However when I arrived and Jim (at the service counter) found out that I was using a groupon, he refused to do the oil change saying I need to pay the full price. Horrible service using the old "SWITCH and BAIT" scam!!!

This Precision location has performed service on our diverse automobile collection. Jaguar, Suzuki and Toyota have had their issues diagnosed and corrected there. Always more expensive then I had wished but problem resolved for less than a dealership. They deliver on their promises!
