A family business that treats you like family! I recently brought our tow vehicle in for service to replace a compression clutch that was failing. It was a Friday before we were going camping, and they were able to accommodate us. Unfortunately, the new part failed during our return trip damaging the fan, radiator, belts, hoses, and filters. It stranded us about 100 miles from home - on a Sunday! So how on earth is this a 5-star review? Read on... When we called them to let them know what happened, not only did they come pick us up that night, they also towed our travel trailer back and helped put it in storage. Then they expedited the process to get the replacement parts and address the collateral damage. Within a couple of days, we had our Land Cruiser back and running better than ever. Their commitment to service excellence, fair and honest practices, as well as going above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were met has made us loyal customers for life.

Ive taken my van in there 3 times for service. The first time the dealership had it for 2 days said there was something with the transmission so we had it rebuilt. After $1200 in repairs and still the issue wasnt fixed we took it to Batchelders. They found the problem and fixed it the same day. Come to find out it was the berings. Yes I see how the berings on the wheels going out could be related to the transmission. Everytime Ive taken my car there he has come in way under what I was expecting it to cost and gotten it done very quickly. The best part is he doesnt treat me like a idiot because Im a woman.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. You will find no better mechanics around. I recently lost my car keys, (poof vanished, in thin air) and was not able to drive my vehicle for over a week. I was getting quotes on changing out parts I wasnt even sure cars had but then, I came across Gilroy Automotive Repair. I spoke one on one with Jeremy (the owner), and explaining my situation we came to the best course of action that I could afford and got me on the road in the same day. deffinently going back.
