Stupid people run this place. I got a call saying my membership dues are going to be billed to my bank account. I called them back saying you have the wrong number because Ive never been a member here ever and I dont live in Hayward. stupid person (I kid you not) says "ok member id number?" I said No...I just told you Im not a member. stupid person again says "ok member name or member number?" I said no you called me and I am not a member so my name will not be there. Extremely stupid person says "well I cant help you without your name to look you up". LOL I cant make this up! I said ok...bye!

This is probabbly one of the worst Gym in Bay Area. Very limited quantity of equipments. You will have to wait almost 30 to 40 Mins to use the equipment. Lot of machines also have "Not in Service" Tag on them for almost a month. In fact, they had "NOT IN SERVICE" tag on water fountain. It took the them 3 months to get the water fountain fixed. At last, I got fed up with them and cancelled the service. But they wont cancel it. Excuses after excuses for not cancelling it. BEWARE: THINK 10 TIMES BEFORE YOU JOIN PLANET FITNESS IN HAYWARD.

Weve been to a lot of different locations. Hayward is the best! Friendliest staff. Cleanest facility. Enjoy that its bigger so we dont feel like were right on top of somebodys workout. Like that it has a separate room for floor exercises not jus a little corner. Nice variety of machines...just over all our favorite location and you cant beat the price of other gyms. Most of the time you dint use the extras other gums have anyway if you even go. If Im having a bad month I still paid less for my membership than one meal! Guilt free

You can sign up for a membership online, but beware you cannot cancel it online nor on the phone. You must go in person or send "certified" letter to the "home" gym. Come on?! I never even used this tired gym, but paid for 2 years as it is so inconvenient to get to. Now, got to write a letter and get it certified, trip to post office and definitely follow-up again to make sure they actually cancel it. is it possible they dont follow up or make it easy to cancel to deter cancellations? I do believe thats the case. what an old school con.

I stopped coming here recently. It is difficult to do any kind of routine at this gym. The machines always have people just sitting and talking on them. The weights are always being hoarded. The staff doesnt do anything but sit behind the counter. I didnt feel like this was my gym. If you want to cancel your membership they do not make it easy. I liked Planet Fitness because of the price, I am sure it is great for a more leisure work out but if you are serious about making a change, I would recommend finding a different gym.

Staff is not helpful at all. I cancelled my membership early last month and I am still being charged a monthly fee. When I speak to the staff, Im told you need to speak to a manager. When I spoke to the manager (Stephanie), I was told that you need to speak to a DIFFERENT manager, and that manager is not here. When I call back the NEXT day, Im told that the manager is on the property, but she is not available. Customer service rating is 0. If this app would allow me to click 0 stars, I would.

I have visited many different planet fitness locations (mainly in VA, NY, and CA.) This location is by far the friendliest, biggest, cleanliest and has the best customer service. I usually go late nights or early mornings and have never had issues with machines not being available. I enjoy coming here and definitely feel I am getting my moneys worth with the black card.

Ive read some of the complaints and thought...which rep are they talking about?..Ive gone to this gym for a year now and have been met time and time again with nothing but friendly staff. Its always clean and if something isnt right they never hesitated to fix it..planet fitness isnt for the super body builder, but the average Joe w will do fine

I find this place pretty cool. Getting in shape is quite hard, but with the right people and perfect gym, you’ll be more motivated to work out. The place was spacious and you never have to wait for equipment. Locker rooms are clean most of the time and very welcoming atmosphere. Very affordable price and friendly staff. What can I ask for?

Absolutely love this gym, Ive been a black card member since April 2016 and have had no problems with the machines, the staff always keep everything clean and are super friendly, they recently remodeled the whole gym along with a new entrance. Would recommend!

Large selection of Smith machines and equipment. Definately great for beginners to intermediate weight lifters. The only con is lack of heavy dumb bells past 75p and equipment for advanced workouts. But besides that good place to sweat.

Very nice upgrades. Easy to find machines but they lack free weights. Massage chairs and hydrobeds are cool. Super friendly service by the Employees like Collette J is a plus!
