The owner is one of the nicest guys I have ever met. As far as Emily saying "the staff is not very helpful with helping show customers how to use the equipment" not everyone that works there is a personal trainer. Its a smaller gym so there are only a couple trainers. The other staff is there to clean the place, check people in, and help with membership questions. I wouldnt want a receptionist showing me how to workout. (I guess Emily does.) If you have any questions about technique or the equipment, there are trainers there that are more than willing to answer questions. Also maybe Emily is going through menopause?? Cause the gym is not hot, especially more than outside. The bottom line is.. This gym is the place you want to workout at if you dont want to feel like you are at a night club. (like all the other big gyms out there.) The place is clean, staff is great, the other members are not perverts that try to hit on everyone.. And there are no guys that just go to gyms to scream when they lift weight to get people to pay attention to them. The other important thing to mention is the gym fees are crazy low.. There are no stupid 17 different start up charges either. The bottom line is that this place is worth checking out.

I love this gym! It has great energy with people working with personal trainers, but never feels uppity. Real people working with competent professionals. Of course most of the members are working solo. Theres a very nice free weights section, then the machine weights area, finally the aerobic equipment. Parking is decent. The best part about this gym is the childcare! Not only is it GREAT! and my kids love going (because its just the right size and the employees are awesome!) but its AFFORDABLE! Ive lived all over the country and have (in my younger fitter years) worked as a personal trainer and yoga instructor and I give this gym 5 stars.

North Hill Fitness has the friendliest staff that genuinely cares about the people who come to work out there. Its like a big family in there! People of all ages and levels of fitness are there and there is nothing intimidating about the environment! They have an amazing kids room for my littles, which is an awesome help to accommodate when I can work out! AWESOME place for fitness!

This is a great place for a quick workout. It does not have showers as it is geared for showing up, working out, and heading home. They just got new equipment in the last year and I like this location. It used to be across the street, but the new location allowed them to get an updated look and new style bathrooms. Very nice.

Pretty happy about my decision on going to this gym! Very nice people, straight forward you get more than what you pay for. Staff constantly cleaning machines, floors ect. It doesnt matter what your fitness level is, everyone is friendly and wont judge you.

Staff is not very helpful or observant when customers do not know how to use equipment. The air hardly moves inside and it is often cooler outside even during summer. Despite these, their facility is clean and the equipment is nice.
