Beyond dissatisfied with my experience at Be One Yoga. If it was possible to give zero stars, that would be my rating. I purchased a 5-class punch card ($90) for prenatal classes thinking it would be great to go to yoga for the next couple of weeks before baby arrives (Im currently 35 weeks pregnant). Ive practiced yoga in the last and have stayed fairly active during my pregnancy so my doctor was encouraging when I mentioned that I was interested in trying prenatal yoga. I was super excited to go to my first class. Since I didnt know how busy it would be, I arrived 30 minutes early to be sure I got a decent spot. Upon my arrival, I was asked whether I had pre-registered online. I said "no", since I was not aware of any pre-registration requirement. At the time I purchased my pass earlier in the week, I was told that all I needed to do was show up and print my name and phone number on the sign-in sheet at the front desk and that it was not necessary to bring my receipt or a card or anything. In fact, the lady that sold me the pass couldnt print my receipt (which I found a bit odd - they dont have a printer?) and wasnt able to email it to me because she had entered my email address incorrectly, and didnt know how to fix it. I was told that if I wanted to, I could go online and set up a profile. I was not told that it was necessary to go online to pre-register for all classes, nor was I told that all prenatal classes for the next two weeks were fully booked and already had waitlists. As you can imagine, at 35 weeks pregnant, I probably only have two or three more weeks in which Ill be able to do yoga before the baby arrives, so a 5-class punch card would only really be effective if I went to every class (since classes are only offered twice a week) for the next five classes. This was fine with me and I was happy to commit as I started my maternity leave early. Such a pass would be totally useless to me if I had known that classes were fully booked for the next two weeks (taking me to 37 weeks pregnant, e.g., full term). After waiting 15 minutes to speak to the owner and explaining the situation again, I was again told about the "no refund" policy which is apparently posted on their website (note - I just checked their website and cant find any mention of this policy) and all of their print material (note - the no refund policy is not mentioned on the only two documents that were given to me at the time of purchase - the prenatal registration form and the schedule). I said that had I known that pre-registration was required and that all slots were taken for the next two weeks (and that there was a waitlist for each class), I would not have wasted $90 on a pass that was of absolutely no use to me. In fact, its super misleading to sell something to someone when you know theyre not actually going to be able to use it (the lady that sold me the pass knew how far along I was). AS YOU CAN TELL, IM NOT IMPRESSED. I strongly discourage you from using this yoga studio.

I have been coming to Be One Yoga intermittently (and now regularly) since they opened their doors. If the prospect of a Five Guys right next door seems improbable and perhaps tantalizing to you (as it did me)-relax-the smell doesnt permeate. That aside, this is the most fantastic yoga studio I have ever practiced in. From the calming ambiance, to the open changing rooms, to the comfortable post-yoga lounge area, to the sincerity and friendliness of the staff and students, you gain a real sense of community. Be One Yoga has a variety of instructors, and this is awesome because when you blend their individual tips for postures, you end up with a more complete instruction, and an improved pose. At the end of each class, a cool, lavender scented towel is offered. The towel completes the class in a way that brings the movements and the final Shivasana full circle. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to begin a yoga practice, or anyone looking for a yoga community. Best experiences ever.

I went here for the one month trial period, I think it was one month unlimited for $20. I really enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and helpful. The place looks nice and clean. There was enough varying temperature spots in the room, that you got a choice of hot your workout was. They have different kinds of yoga and many teachers! The instructors actually teach you how to do yoga and will help you do the moves properly. I love when they walked us through difficult moves and would walk around to make sure we were doing, whichever variation we chose, correctly. Definitely worth checking out. If I had the money and lived near by still, Id totally keep going.

Awesome teachers and great atmosphere. Plus they give you a cold lavender scented cloth at the end of class to cool off your face which is delightful and refreshing.

Just curious whats being done for Maggie. Policy or no, common sense dictates that she be given a refund.
